PC PES 2014 discussion thread

If PES2013 stadiums are readily converted then we should look to the region of some sixty 'real life' stadiums.

Unfortunately given the difficulty of constructing new stadia as it were we will never get to the levels of PES6 stadia unless the same coding structure is retained year on year for the next few iterations.

This picture was posted before stadium was released. Stands are not empty in game and it’s one of the most beautiful stadiums I have ever seen in video games.
really i love this stadium so much...thanks to the creator....i play most of matches in this stadium...:))

Is steam on release day official? I live in the US and none of the retailers have the game on PC. I might have to buy it from the UK.

Pre-ordered from ShopTo, seemed like it's not going to be less than £20 on Steam anyway. And as mentioned earlier, probably easier to run patches on the disc version without Steam complaining of file changes etc.

if you lads had a 400-500 pound budget to buy a PC that could play PES in high settings ect what would you be looking at buying? im a noob when it comes to PC gaming I would prob come home with magic beans if I wandered into a store to buy one

It wont just be for PES but that will be my main reason for buying it as im skipping the PS4 too

Probably best to post in the PC Building Thread in the Other Games forum. You'll get the best advice there and you will find some examples of builds on a budget.

At that budget you should consider building one yourself to get the most for your money.

thanks for the reply mr richardson I guess I wont get a decent gaming rig for that price off the shelf then hmm building one might be a problem for me since I struggle with using an Iron but I will head over there and ask around

thanks

Pre-built for that price could be difficult unless you go second hand so a self-build will get a you a much better pc for your money.

Don't worry, it's very easy to do. There's nothing particularly technical or complicated about it.

I have posted a quick thread where you suggested I will see what they say and read up a bit on it myself cheers again I just hope your posts and advice are not used in a future court case involving a house fire

sorry for the off topic people as you were!

It's annoying that there is another year where the PC version is not readily available in the US. I don't know why they refuse to make it available? I know it may be on Steam, and I love Steam as a pc gamer, but I would prefer it without having to run through Steam.

I know GamesPlanet has had it for digital download the last couple of years, and that is the path I have taken. This year, it doesn't seem to be available, unless it changes in the near future.

I am on the lookout though, and will let you know if I find any information.

Gamesplanet made PES 2013 available almost in the last minute, there was no trace of PES 2013 until day or two before the release date. Maybe they are doing the same stunt again

Thanks, zlac. Getting old, memory must be going. I'll keep an eye out for that.

Been like that for a while now.. i think it maybe because they got a bollocking from Konami, they released pes 2011 early zlac,do you remember ? they released the download links and sent the emails with the activation code on the 30th Sept & then Konami pushed the date back the the 8th Oct,then when when they realized they kept the links up and stopped the emails so many who had ordered had the links to the game but had to wait until the 8th Oct for their activation code.I was lucky & got mine early.

Ah, forgot about that old leakgate completely, thanks for jogging my memory

EDIT: On a sidenote, beware of gamesplanet prices - PES 2013 is still valued £30 / 40€

Bear in mind Shopto offers free delivery garunteed for release day, whereas Gamestop charge extra for 'express shipping'

For UK only or entire EU? What does actually 'Mainland' in 'UK & Mainland Only' stand for?

@ zlac, UK mainland courier services do not include parcel delivery to places that are not on the main island, like the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight. This also means the Channel Islands: Geurnsey and Jersey.

Guernsey postcodes are GY; Jersey is JE.

PO is the Isle of Wight, and IM and TR the Isle of Man.

The restriction includes Northern Ireland, which is separate from the UK mainland. Postcodes there are BT.

The areas that perhaps cause the most controversy are the Scottish Highlands. Although they are only marginally separated from the mainland, which is an area of contention itself, PA and PH postcodes are excluded from the mainland, as are IV and HS postcodes, KA and KW, plus ZE. This is simply because these areas take more time to reach. Since they are also not densely populated, parcel collections or parcel delivery is less frequent and therefore becomes a more expensive journey due to lack of volume.

Updated NEYMAR face in PES14 recently tweeted by Adam.....

Can someone with experience enlighten me on what 'Football Life' is, and whether it's better than Fifa's CM mode (and if so, why)? I know that sounds like an examination question; sorry about that. ;)

Bro, I get it every year with cd keys.... Before being released in US

Where can I order in the States? This year I want a physical copy of 2014 for PC as someone mentioned earlier, I do not want to deal with any headache when going down the OF route. I live in the states what site can I order from?

I love Steam and have that option for Digital Download. This year I just want disk in hand.

It's revamped Master League. Since PES 2012 (correct me if I am wrong), it was renamed to Football Life. It's nowhere near what you have in FIFA 12/13. It's more like FIFA 11 and prior Career Mode.

But with all competitions on from 1st season, real CL/EL in it, but unrealistic FA/League Cup where... If you play Bundesliga, you may encounter some D2 team in it from other country...

Meh;)
