Yes.. Adding tons of output various preset animation based on collission point will be enough if possible.. i hope though, since Havok is different company i believe they'll continue developing their physic and PES team can take advantages out of it.

On the demo had some problems especially the defense, you where complaining about Player vs Player being bad, well that is because of the Defensive AI being absent on this difficulty. Its the same on Bitters stream, he beat Germany with ease on Superstar but had a better competitive harder game vs Argentina.

It's better to use Professional or top player for now.

Your not using Superstar again are you?

Its broken, Top Player/Professional are better.

Yep, physics are excellent. It's one of the main reasons why the game plays so well this year. Never understood all the drama concerning clipping as it's not visible whilst playing the game -- not to me anyway.

The physics are really really good, much much better & more realistic than the other game in my opinion.

Diving is now officially part of the game.

You know how in PES2013, "dive" was basically just the "get yourself a yellow card" button? Now it works, but it's all about timing and context. As far as I can tell, if you dive too early the ref will see through it and you'll get yellow carded; if you dive too late he just ignores it and play continues (so long as the other team have the ball); but if you time the dive just as the defender moves to tackle you, you'll win the free kick / penalty.

Don't know what anyone else thinks of that. Personally I think it's hilarious and great, but then I'm not planning on playing in the general lobbies...

What are the buttons combination to do "dive" ?

I think it's great .. bring on whatever that makes the game close to realism. If people "dive" on the online game, it is really their call because that is what football is.

Bring on brawl and fight too.

L1 + L2 + L3 + R3 = dive

Might be simpler than that, actually, but if you do that it'll work.

CAN CONFIRM this is in the game. I have posted it before in a video. Watch Bitter's streams on Twitch.tv for further proof. In fact, watch the Barca vs Madrid video posted on this page.

All of the issues alluded to by the lad could be due to ONE difficulty being broken. See how one can be misled to assume a placebo effect? Doesn't justify it, however. Good spot.

For those asking if there will be a fight in pes, I think there will be some factors to take into account. For instance in this vid its north London rivals arsenal v tottenham and just after arsenal get their 2nd goal someone fauls soldado and he looses it and fights as a result. The fact he is losing to a rival club might have also fraustrated him too.

@wusimu2: that is great, thanks for posting that. it's good to know that the feature is still there and not to mention the "players complaining to the referee" after the match, is an additional feature which makes PES 2014 more realistic. Good stuff!

You know, I was thinking the same thing, but if it's so expensive? uhm, I don't know, but maybe we could split the price if you are interested in buying it with me, I really love Pes and this is the first time they are releasing Pes in the PS3 as digital download in the PSN store, I love digital games, they don't screw my blue ray eye lol.

Heard game became faster and less inertia after latest patch? From a forum in my home country.

Anyone updated yet? News is terrible. Seems like it's becoming like versions of the past.

I'm hoping its not..

Hey.
Managed to suss out. When you cross, tap shoot button when cross is on way over, but then point L stick to where you want header to go when ball reaches player. Bit like first time shooting. Was struggling for ages with player controlling ball or cheating it down then it clicked.
Scored some nice headers this way:))

No mate it hasn't been toned down. That is a real misconception. The game has been slightly sped up for the US version. I compared all versions, retail and demo. Put it down to -1 and you'll get demo pace. I prefer the European version is it's just that little bit slower which suits me.

I wonder if people were this critical before the interweb? Probably not. They got a game and either enjoyed or they didnt.
People didnt disect the shit out of a game.
Let me state something. ITS A GAME. If you want real football, with real snow, mud, intelligence and basically perfection - put the controller down, go outside and join a football team.

To be fair, this is a discussion forum for the game, not quite sure what'd you expect? :P

Agree to an extent though, I think people can get too caught up in the negatives. I can see plenty of areas of improvement, but these things rarely stop me enjoying the game and personally I think this is the closest we've got to real football so far.
