Passing triangles are so much more pronounced but what really shines is the passing and long passing on manual...they way you can suck the opposition defensive line up and knock balls into space for forwards to run onto is something that's been missing.

I also love the way the games go from slow small movements too both teams being at full stride its best when games and space opens up and you have all the variations of deflected and loose balls.

It's so multi dynamic..many options,I you like short tight passing a its there,if you like to play long it's there...while tactically its been there.Its now fleshed out properly on the pitch.

Playing this,I now understand what they were building and the foundations that were laid in place with previous iterations,it's like they've finally added the missing pieces,he most fundemental.

My main problem is just that the defense doesnt drop off enough. What should be happening is when you lose the ball the defence should then drop and the midfield should track back quickly so the back line can stay organised while the other team counter. Currently instead the defence push up even more. whilst the midfield doesnt track back which leaves the huge space in behind.

Here I am, 43 years old, playing the best simulation of football I have ever played (and coming from Emlyn Hughes on my cbm64, that have been a lot). I liked pes2013, but this is something else. The ball physics, physicality and brilliant a.i. (opponent as well as team mates) make this game an absolute joy to play. All seem to work together and so a match becomes a mix of carefully crafted attacks, hopefull long balls and a lot of mistakes (tiny and big ones), just like in real life. Terrific demo - now I long for PC retail.

To deal with that I manually push the line back (by holding back on the dpad). It seems to work well enough on the demo, I can bring the line back all the way to the edge of the box.

That mechanic also works to quickly move the defensive line up in unison, essentially allowing you to manually control the offside trap.

In the video, I saw a few really good suprises, Like Mirallas, Vargas, Benat, Borja Valero.... all looked really awesome!
Unfortunatly Suarez looks awful(Again)!
But really like some faces, and not being racist or anything, but they did a really good job with black players! ;)

I am definitely in the same boat as a lot of you when it comes to this demo. Simply awesome!

I lost interest in the series after WE9. Even defected for a few years, then simply would only play a demo or two every new year, get bored or disappointed, then delete the demo after a couple days.

I love the weight of the players and the fact that you can't pull off moves at the turn of a dime. Everything, from passing, dribbling, and shooting, seems to be based on the situation (pressure, momentum and player attributes). Players play different from one another and it is extremely noticeable with reaction time and skill.

Passing feels and looks amazing.

Shots are great and varied, forcing you to not simply expect to rip shots left and right. You need space and timing to pull off a solid shot.

Really enjoying the game though and am LOVING the demo at the moment. It's been a LONG time, but, I might actually buy this game on PC knowing there are so many talented modders out there to bring everything up to date. It has been since WE9 that I am actually excited about the game, can't wait to see all the excellent patches in the near future!

Hi guys, haven't been here in ages but thought I'd pop in to see the comments regarding the new game.
Does anyone know if the league mode is continuous? At the end of a season does it just go to game over or does it carry on into the next year? Also, does the league mode contain a basic cup competition within it?
These does seem to be a lot of negativity here but the positive aspects seem to outweigh them, I can't wait for this game!

Och ffs, is it me or are people not concerned at all with KONAMI decision to put in black referees or Asian referees in game? Seriously, how many of those have you seen in real life?! Especially when it comes to European football.

Name me ONE main ref who is black and refereed in UCL game...

Because I can't think of any name... I miss the days when KONAMI would put in real life refs in their games ;(.

Or at least go FIFA route and do some fake refs with realistic names :P.

If you say that's not important, well, maybe it isn't, but takes SOME enjoyment from the game seeing the same generic crap refs all the time -.-

I wonder if the ref called offsides as the shot was taken? Perhaps that's why Hart raises his hand in that manner (in protest).

Real life refs would be nice but at the end of the day I don't care what colour the "generic" refs are.

Very well wrote mate. Precisely. If Konami doesn´t compromise its principles, again, with retail and patches, this is something we ALL should be proud of. Something totally out of the ordinary, and only Konami to make it possible.

This is by far the best football game ever made. (Demos)

let´s be proud of it.

Pc version can be set to 2560 x 1440

on console it's barely 720p
