For all the guys playing full retail is the defense awareness good and also are the tense midfield battles there like it was in demo 1

Looks very similar to NBA 2K.

Does anyone know where to get good sounding audio/mp3's?

Notice they still have the option for team name commentary and also the name after scoring (more excited pronounciation I guess)
Did anyone ever collect the teams audio into a file for download?





Going to try ML

same set up as normal. Change basic start options like classic players on/off currency difficulty. Start with Master league team or actual squad. Manager contracts are 1 year and at the end of each year you get offers.

I pick Tyneside

Select nationality, "you are more likely to receive offers to manage the national team of your own country"

That's pretty much it. Just next match again or buy sell players.

Just noticed the transfer window closes after this match. Not much time to sign players at the start!



I can see myself enjoying it even without the missing features.

Wow

Just quit back to the main menu and when i highlight football life, the tabs on the right now show my previous ML result and under 2 boxes with still images of the goals. Shame its not video but that could be possible on next gen.
Also no way of re viewing these goals.

I'm pretty sure the game plays better with the English commentary turned off. It's so unbearably lacklustre that it actually takes away excitement from the game.

Sounds as though it's completely stripped down to the bones. Didn't Konami say there would be improvements to ML this year??

You mean Konami's default chants? Well, they're always rubbish, aren't they? The key thing is whether the two sets of fans can chant at the same time - if they can then the excellent chantpacks will take care of the rest. ;)

Just slid in on someone and injured them. Got a straight red and then it showed the injured player in pain as first aid trainers looked at him. Pretty cool

Oh man, hearing the Cantona song when playing as Man United is painful. The fans only actually sing it around Christmas time (it's based on the Twelve Days of Christmas) and it's not a very popular song even then. I'd rather it just wasn't in.

I feel like a serial complainer right now but rest assured I think this and the English commentary are the only two things I actively dislike. I'm really excited for the game.

Isn't there a way to add your own chants this year? I've got a massive library of chants for the other game in MP3 format; won't those work with PES 14?
