I haven't seen anyone mentioning this, but aren't the passes very soft/slow? Dare I say they're almost FIFA like :JAY:
I like to see pinged passes that need to be controlled

Ok. From what I remember, I chose Japanese team in ML. Went straight in to try and buy a few players, and checked if I can buy from any region/all clubs available in the game. So yes we can. Unsure whether 2013 allowed this but I was happy with this.

You all know about moving clubs and managing an international team anyway. As a club manager though your contracted on a yearly basis and may get offers every season.

The calender changed back to a horizontal look which was in a previous PES. Can't remember which. Couldn't check if there were internationals a day before a weekend game though, I just played one friendly, and skipped a few days.

I do remember youth academy in which is good.

Don't recall any cutscenes though, which is good for me.

That's all I remember for now.

Shots are a little underpowered, they tend to go straight to the keeper on basic shooting also, I don't know about a patch changing this.

Try play around with Advanced and manual shooting.

always make sure you work the body position well so the player can generate power for the shot.

Did you try to bid for any players? Just want to know how the transfers work.

Yes I did thanks for reminding me.

It said that I have to go through 2 phases. First should get club acceptance then player. It's nothing fancy though just simple like it always is. Or maybe I didn't get to see what happens if the club accepted, you know because I was rejected twice.

The % of signing a player is better too compared to 2013. Not just the usual very low/high %.

Tbh Id prefer you guys to just ask questions as I cant be bothered to write a long winded post.

Just imagine last year(same load problems etc) without cutscenes, staff upgrades, club upgrades, sponsors, training equipment, bootgate stuff,player feelings etc.

There is no seperate manager history or reputation section where you see how you've done in previous jobs and what your standing in the game is. No agent, contract etc.


Just you and your squad which you add or remove players from. Real simple. Some people may like this approach I just personally need more in a career mode.

I hope someone with the game can give us more details very soon though. Wish I played more ML to explore more but feckin' dudes switched off the PS3 while I was in the middle of a game!

Yeah tbh mate its not that i missed those particular features themselves. I had hoped konami had completely revamped them into a much better system overall. Those parts themselves werent very good but the ideas behind them were.

Ok, played 3/4 games now and still havent won an attacking header. In fact just there ar a corner, instead of jumping or making any sort of heading animation, the ball just bounced off rooneys head into the air and into the keeper. Is there a discussion thread on issues like this? Hate to obvioulst drag the topic away from the op.

Not PC yet or Xbox360 on the store i bought it.

i can see you got the LatinAmerican cover, what about the commentators?
You get to choose from several options in spanish or you're stuck with Chilean/Mexican/Argentinian?

Que envidia tener el juego desde ahora viejo!
No me gusta jugar la demo porque no hay nada en juego, sabemos que la CPU se porta muy diferente en amistosos..

There isnt a proper calender like before. Its kind of like a drop down list of your next appointment if you know what I mean. After my first match there was a international match but I didnt notice it do anything to my players stamina in the next one.
