Things I like

The pace of the game feels just right.

It just looks better than PES 13.

It somehow just feels right.

The new way for crossing is good.

Games will be tight, no unrealistic goalfests in this version, even online I think.



Problems

Catch up bug is laughable, defenders suddenly look like they are on speed!

Passing is way too easy on manual.

Shooting is too soft on all modes.

Some of the players look absolutely terrible visually.

The AI isn't great on super star level. Doesn't win the ball back off me and hasn't scored a goal in 6 straight games against me.

Biggest problem, I've again scored direct from a corner (twice so far) in only 7 games. The keeper just parries it in and can't keep it out. Shocking. Was also in the leaked demo if you curl it right with the arrows and the sweet spot level power. Will be abused rotten online.


I know I've picked out more problems than likes, but the fact I listed the game just feels right is the only way I can sum it up. It always takes time to adjust as well with new PES titles. I really, really like the game and hope a few issues can be sorted, then we are there IMO.

Ok guys this is going to be a bit of a downer post and is about master league.

I'm sorry guys but it seems that the whole mode has been striped down to shreads. No manager creator, no staff roles(coach,scout etc) very,very basic training options, probably worse load times and literally 0 depth. I'm seriously wondering why anyone would be able to play in it long enough to change club. You might aswell be playing league mode with transfers. Then there's the transfer money issue we had a couple of years ago when top players were going for little money. I bought alexia Sanchez for 10 million and sold Ashley young for 10 etc that same crap we had a couple of years ago which I expect konami to patch probably day 1. Anyway there is no separate manager section to look at your individual records or how your teams have done or how highly rated you are or agents or anything. It's as barebones as a mode can be. In a year where we have seen great depth in fifa's career mode I really hoped konami would have made this a hidden gem but unfortunately they have instead brought in stuff and taken all substance away.

Btw this has nothing to do with gameplay as my feelings on that are positive. But it's a huge downer playing this mode which is really the blandest manager mode I've played . :roll:

Well Asim and a few more guys (about 3) mentioned Master League being a huge disappointment a few weeks ago.

Not sure about "disappointment". It's subjective. Depends what you're looking for in ML.

I remember the old PS1 and PS2 days. Master League was so simple yet SO addictive. I don't care if I can't hire staff and stuff like that. The only thing I'm worried about the Star Players being really cheap and easy to sign.

The UK version is a different version compared to US.

The US version it's, well its like a Gamescom build.

the UK version is far, far better, much better responsiveness, especially in regards to dynamic 1-2 pass.

Feel exactly the same. So much damn bloody hype the whole year and it's the soft floaty shooting again. Granted there are good points and improvements. Point is are they gna fix shooting for retail? There is zero satisfaction. Ppl dare compare shooting even to pes5/6? Crazy.
