Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Squeezed-in a few more games today on Top player.

I've gone to full manual passing and I love it! Takes a little practice but it affords much more creative gameplay.

Also, switching to Advanced through-ball is much better, although I hope we can switch-off the indicator.

Advanced shooting is still a little too easy IMO. Manual shooting is bit random - I wonder is it working as intended?

Still not getting the hang of the defending. There are definitely moments - both attackers and defenders, where a player will slow-down, as of running through treacle.

You can switch off all indicators under system settings > controller settings > support settings.

You ambled, he sprinted.

On another note I think I've had my eureka moment on this demo. I was playing as Spain vs England, having a 'mare trying to deal with Rooney and Welbeck and trying to create chances in the midfield, when suddenly everything clicked. The dribbling, the movement, the passing and the defending. I played a rematch and won 2-0.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

I downloaded the We 2014 demo and, to be honest, the slow motion crap is still there. It gets worse and more notable when there are too many player fighting for the ball possession. This happens around the box and inside. It ruins the experience for me at times.

Mostly because of this, this demo disappointed me, despite some obviuous and very welcome improvements (there are still some bugs tho).

I think the great advantage of the WE2014 demo is the weight of players, it's fantastic.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

lami is there any considerable difference btw demo 2 and the 90percent code u played which did u enjoy

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

I'll be honest and say I enjoyed 90% code more because I could play it on +1/+2 speed :P

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Sucks about the stadiums, but oh well, on PC we'll have the editors at it anyway. Let's hope they're all firing up their engines ready to churn out some stadia. I suggest working out a payment system thing for stadia, where people from the community can request which stadia should be created, you can contribute with money to a pot, which would be distributed to the creator when the finished version has been released. Something like that would be cool. :)

I'll take the best simulation football game ever over all the meaningless fluff that some people crave. Finally this year Konami got their focus right, on the gameplay. Can't believe people have the gall to complain about stuff like the menus:LOL:

One of the things that worries me the most is that WE2014 is going to be slower. I feel that knowing what I do about Japan's video-game taste compared to the West, they would be more open to a slower tactical game and the game-makers might consciously speed things the game up for the rest of the world.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

We all know disorganization is at the tip of your fingers when it comes to KONAMI, but still... this sounds like TOO MUCH even for these guys.

What are you chatting about man? Winning Eleven game has always had a bit of a different feel to it than the normal PES.

Please no.

Modders would be in huge legal troubles as they would be making a profit over licensed things.

Apart from that, when money is involved, things never end well.

Modding should be always free for all. That's the good thing of it.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

After countless hours of playing the demo I've finally become a lot more consistent. Everything is starting to click.

Feels good.
