It's probably just the audio files. If they have tweaked the gameplay it wouldn't really add any size.

There seems to be a lot of PC players on here so can you guys give me some advice.

How much is a decent gaming PC capable of doing all the things you guys mention and is it easy to install the option file etc.

I appreciate you will probably say build you're own pc but I wouldn't have the time or knowledge.

Been playing pro for years , since back in the days when you had to make the badges on a grid and add the colours with squares lol

Really want to get into PCM version but don't know where to start

Played both Pes demos for 12 days only manual with cpu and friends too. First Pes title that deserves the title Pes after ps2 golden era.I dont like at all :

1) Lack of fouls from body contacts and some tacklin fouls that in replay you see that you clearly took the ball...Also advantages are bad.Especially body contact fouls without double X or tackle are missing a lot and its frustrating

2) Headers from crossing and general scoring from crosses still seems static,boring and unresponsive...Generally when the ball is in the air from a cross i dont feel i can do what i have in mind and score a goal...Its so hard to make a simple header...Pes must copy manual Fifa system for crosses,like taking position when the ball is in the air,responsiveness,animations and more ways to score a goal like this.Its 2014,come on

3) Dont like manual shots...You can put speed and power but not send the shot where you want...Needs tweak...Also controled R shot in manual is broken...Ball always go 10 metres up even with a tad of power

4) Keepers in general are good this year but i hope for a litle better...One thing that is completely wrong is that they hold in their arms really powerfull shots that actually should parry...Its ridiculus when they do this with a dive too...totally wrong

5) Why there is no button for pull an arm or shirt like some old Pes or the last fifas that if you press too much you make a foul???Is it there???Cause if its missing its so wrong again in terms of gameplay and realism

6) I am not sure about this but i think that the first demo was a little better in terms of speed and pace and maybe it was more realistic how some players turn and changing directions especially in loose ball situations without the ball

I hope they fix some of the simple things above cause the game is pretty good in some things...cheers :)

patches are usually included in exe, so it sjust double click and your off

I can't see why they would release different versions of the demo in different countries. What would be the purpose.

There's no purpose, but considering the team is based in Japan and submited demos probably take much less time to be approved. It's nothing new really, happened on previous years.

We all know disorganization is at the tip of your fingers when it comes to KONAMI, but still... this sounds like TOO MUCH even for these guys.
 
Did you guys try the shooting on training? Strange the shot power is so much more than normal match time. Dno whats the hell with konami and floaty shoats in this gen. Or are we supposed to use knuckle shots every time we shoot? Even ronaldo doesn't do that man.

Some PES players have set up a petition to try to change this and what they are looking at is for footballing license right to be shared fairly. In the U.S the NBA, NHL and NFL used to basically have open licenses. So if you wanted to produce a product that used these licenses you contact them and an agreement is met in terms of a % per unit.

EA have exclusive rights to the NFL now after 2K5 tried to undercut them in price whilst producing a superior product. So EA locked them out of the NFL to prevent further competition to the Madden series.

2K have decided to stop making NHL games for the time being due to the fact in this case that the EA games are far superior in case but should they want to they can jump straight back into making a game as the license in not exclusive.

What this also does is open up the market for Simulation games, Arcade Games and encourage other companies into the arena in turn keeping developers on their toes and pushing the genre forward.

Back in my day you had Sensi, Kick Off, Striker, ISS & Fifa but due to licenses some of these have slowly died off. read the article below and it gives you a sense of what could be.

Happens almost every year.

After playing all three back to back again, I think the US and JP demos are almost identical but the UK version is clearly more responsive and has slightly faster gameplay. The first time I did this instead of selecting the UK demo I think I selected the US demo twice as they look identical on the XMB.

Right then, after (complete guess) maybe 20-30 games on PES and FIFA, I think I'll buy both games but going to give the edge to PES.

Both play very good games of football now and it's very close between them but PES just feels more ... solid. Whereas FIFA still feels a little lightweight even with the added inertia and strength of players more noticeable.

But as I say, I'll get both and I'm sure I'll put a good amount of time into both games as I think one game might be better when in a particular mood and the other game for other times.

Looks like an excellent year for football games from a personal perspective :)

Still getting better and the best sign is that I was up for hours with the 'just one more match' phenomenon. Assuming CPU cheating isn't too painful, ML is gonna be seriously addictive. Few q's to the peeps that have the game sorted (as it sounds from them winning all the time!):

1. What does the 'heart' mean in terms of body colour? Obviously I get the arrows, but what does it mean when players are red/blue/green in the selection screen?

2. How are people defending? I thought I'd had a revelation with just using the L and R sticks, but lately I'm realising that stops me 'locking' onto the ball - so the CPU changes direction and I often shoot right by. Are you holding X all the time and waiting for a tackle moment? I find the CPU just dances around me doing that - especially with lumbering centre backs. Especially late in matches I find I can't get close to the CPU.

Seems like base copying has been removed, no extra kit designs or kit fonts but new hairstyles in edit mode

hey guys ive been following this blog for a while and i think we are up for a grt game this year i havnt played the demo cuz i want to discover the animations and physics on a retail level those that have played the game can u tell if players still pass at impossible angles and the potential exlploits so they can be addressed especially that horrendous dotted line

My US demo today, a few games had some rather awful responsiveness issues, not sure why, seen it before but it didn't happen yesterday, I'm going to try the UK and Japanese ones now.
