Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Canada replaced by Jamaica ?

Aboot time.

LOL, even Konami no longer acknowledge Sporting as a top tier club in Portugal

That means the Jose Alvalade will be gone too if Sporting Club aren't licenced?

Also looks like the number of 'other european' teams has fallen again. No Club Bruges, Dynamo Kiev, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos, etc...

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Now i'm a bit disapointed!
They lost so many licenses!
Norten Ireland, Sweden, Japan..... where the hell is Croatia? :CONFUSE:
Cmon..... not a single addition?

On the bright side....... Sporting! :SNACK::FISH::D:WOOT::LMAO::BY::PP:LOL::SAL:  :EASY:

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

But they make up for that with new Leagues and Championship, i'm all game. However the national team roster still remain weak, has been that way since 2011.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Another possible consequence of the Japan NT license lose... no J-League DLC at all this year?

Seriously, the game as a whole product is clearly unfinished right now. I think i'll wait a few weeks to buy it. At least until how the DLC's will be, apart from the amount of patches/mods that will be released.

PD: I still don't get it. Japan was ALWAYS licensed in PES history, in some cases the only license (PES 1/2).

i am really starting to enjoy this. CPU is getting good possesion, once you learn the x shadow button with your man. Dribbling is so different but really good. If AI can stay like it is in this demo, ML is back in a strong way. However there are a few flaws, i dont think responsiveness is bad like people think, lay off sprint, learn how to use the L1 button.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

if you mean EA sports.. ? Rutter, Jaramillo, Enrique, Channon.. are they actually from Canada ? :?

Pretty certain none of those are. The only one I can think of who is definitely Canadian is Aaron McHardy, who was/is a gameplay producer. He's an ex-footballer.

Where did you get that news?

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

The thing that concerns me is the fact that I always feel that there's weird slow motion feeling on attack, both for cpu and player.

Am I the only one who's been experiecing this ? I'm playing the US demo. I'm thinking about donwloading the Euro version, maybe this is a bug on the american version.

I understand what your saying I had the same feeling too. I downloaded the Japanese version winning eleven and I haven't noticed any slowdown at all, the japs could have a more refined code. Come release date should be all good mate

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Grab the World Soccer Winning Eleven 2014 Demo mate, its amazeballs.

I might have to apologise to the guy earlier, I deleted the demo that I got from the US store and downloaded the EU one and it felt more responsive.

But now I've played the Winning Eleven Demo, that feels amazing to me, so responsive!

I agree and I don't feel any slowdown either. Best part about the Japanese version it's all in English just the commentary is Japanese and I love it more.

Cocaine is one hell of a drug.

Reminds me of that clip of the keeper sprinting back to his half, though I suppose it is also has traces of ketchup.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

:OOOH:

By the look of it, most of players are jogging though and only one who runs and this cocaine man is sprinting. :P

I hope it does not look ridiculous in actual game.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

shifting over from fifa this year and took for granted the many obvious features..

for one, how many players are limited to in a typical match? can 5 players play together in any given cup or league match?

seems like such a basic feature to implement that was always there in pes5/6 days.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Does anyone have a stadium list yet. They cut us down to 20 and won't even tell us which.

San Siro
Old Trafford
Allianz Arena
Konami Stadium
Da Luz
La Bombonera
Estádio Urbano Caldeira

Are confirmed what about the rest.

Also I strongly don't believe there is a catch up big iv broken away a few times from defence and have sped away with fast players by constantly tapping the R1, if you just hold R1 down player does slow down

anyway if those who play pes 2013 or what not.. do you guys know whats the max number of players at one time?

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Also if pes 2014 doesn't play like winning eleven demo . Il be buying winning eleven instead this demo rocks

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Really, I think they're great. Once you get the hang of using combinations of R1, R2 and the sticks you can really dance through traffic. But, like real football, you can hardly ever just sprint up the field willy nilly, like some other football games. Really forces you to move the ball around and take opportunities to run into gaps and through space to deliver the next pass or shot.

That must be the reason why I'm having so much trouble with dribbling right now.
I use the R1 button too much so i guess i have to admit it : i'm a sprint whore.

I have stopped buying pes after pes2008, still playing pes6. Coming from pes6 to this i really notice the unresponsiveness of pes2014, and the button lag.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Where do you guys get the Winning Eleven demo? Do you need a Japanese PSN account or something?

Mchardy is Jamaican. Seriously.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO FIFA DEMO TALK IN HERE!)

Been playing it yesterday evening for a couple of hours. My impressions for what they are worth.
I played on regular sicne i haven't played PES reularly since the 2011 edition.
It seems regular is too easy for me since the CPU did not score a single goal.
In the beginning it was hard to score, but like all good editions this game grows on you.

All in all this is easily the best PES in years (since PES5). I just hope Konami don't change too much for the retail version. If the retail version will be like this i will not be playing much FIFA this year...

The animations are fantastic.
People complain about GK's, my team's GK's always performed very good. The CPU goal keeper made one howler, but that was Joe Hart, so one could even say that was realistic (was a bit of a comic goal...but this happens from time to time irl too).

The one thing which could be better is the player changing when you defend.

And then there is this weird thing a throw ins, i don't know if anybody other noticed this, but you can't throw in straight forward...maybe i do something wrong (surely not), but i've been trying 5 or 6 matches and i couldn't do it for the love of god....Strange.

All in all splendid and highly entertaining demo. Good work Konami,k don't mess it up now...

When i see the list of teams, i'm rather disappointed because there are less "other" European clubs and the fact that Dortmund isn't there is a real shame...Also only one Belgian club...i know most people will not bother but i know one person on this forum that his beloved Zulte Waregem is not in the game...

I have a feeling i will be playing a lot with Argentinian teams. And will end up palying more League mode than ML. Over the moon that the league mode is back, but i never understood why they took it out in the first place.

PS: i'm also anticipating playing with our national team, hope they are good in the game...if Konami follow the hype, they might be too good, but what the hell...
