Game is amazing, men. I have played many games now as a single fixed player and the only issue I have is that the movement is a little bit sluggish. Would like a little bit more urgency in it. CPU plays very well on Top Player I think so BAL is going to be fun this year!

Edit: Haven't read the thread, but if you have problems injecting the game with Xtaf, remember to check so the file isn't read only. I got an error message and it was because the torrent file after download was read only.

Guys, just a small testimony from someone that was playing the beta demo and now this... this demo feels a lot better/more complete/ironed out...

Really really liked it! Id be happy if this was the final game(unlike the beta demo wich had lots of small glicthes)


Shooting is one aspect that really stood out to me from the beta to this, its a lot better and more refined.

Thanx for all the feedback. my last one is that in the leaked demo we could not score crosses into the box or header due to button lag or responsive problems(players would always chest instead of header). can we now. THANX LOADS BROTHER

Ok I can confirm Horizon works perfectly!

Format flashdrive in 360, put in PC, launch horizon, right click demo section, choose inject, point it to the demo file, wait a few mins and bingo! Put it into my 360 and it showed the demo, moved it to my HDD and it runs fine :)

Was that a complaint from the leaked demo? I just scored a goal inside the box, but to be honest I think they're might be? There have been a few occasions where I've tried to either head/shoot the ball first time and it didn't come off. I took an extra touch or two and the chances were wasted. Perhaps it was due to body position. I'll have to keep an eye to see if that's the case.

EDIT: This just happened to me again during a corner. Muller beat his marker and all he needed to do was get any sort of touch and he probably would have scored. I pushed B and a direction and he elected to take a touch. Is there some sort of secret to first time shooting?

It's a response time issue I think. Shooting headers weren't working well from crosses in the leaked demo. Frame rate became very sluggish as well from crosses.

I know you all going crazy to play a demo which is just coming in few hours. But on the side note, I was playing FIFA Demo, yes you better see what the competition is offering at some point. One thing just happened. The commentator started talking about Barca being a one man team and how that was the case last the in the "Champions League" yes Martin Tyler or whatever his name said "Champions League" about Messi being injured. How come EA can talk about the Champions League which is an exclusive to PES?
Something is not right here. Either Konami are not pushing the envelope, maybe Konami is also allowed to talk about the Barclays Premier League in commentaries but they just don't do it. Or EA is illigally doing into Konami territories but Konami is so afraid to go in EA's

Anyone with the demo playing against Barca will hear Champions League refered more than once. I wouldn't be suprised if this won't be mention in Career Mode like "Welcome to the group stage of the Champions League". I'm so pissed right now as we are not getting stadiums because of exclusivity.

This is THE BEST FOOTBALL SIMULATION EVER!
Forget PES 8,9,10,11,12,13 and Fifa...

First of all - there is manual play! When you hold L2 you have different color, but you can put in option 0 pass suport and manual shot(same color, but it is manual play) VIVA MANUAL PLAY!
2nd. Game is so hard to play, i can't score against cpu on regular :-( (It's my bad skills I think, not the game)
3rd. Controls are totally changed
4th. Gk-s are still sucks. They are better than ever, but when I compare it with Fifa's gk's it is still bad goalkeeping. But, GK now can arange you counter atacks with long throw(it's not like in pes13)
5th Speed merchant is out. And PACE IS NOT SO IMPORTANT NOW!
6th There is no way to spam with through balls like idiots in pes13.
7th Graphic and animations are really really GREAT!
8th Players are really more inteligent in this pes!
9th Air battle(Jumping) is also very good - so realistic.

I don't know what to say, i am so excited.

If u want to ask me something, just do it!

Hm, interesting. I haven't played PES on consoles since 2008, but it's noticeably more sluggish than the PC (obviously). The frame rate drops when you're adjusting your game plan! I wonder if it's a hardware or gameplay issue. Perhaps a bit of both?

Pls cross into the box. Seeing if the response time is ok. That players header the ball towards goal instead of taking a touch. Thanx

Yep, had to use the Horizon tool. Make sure you get the tool from the Digiex site though. I got some file from the first website and it looked legit but it installed 945 pieces of malware :RANT:

Had a few games and it does feel better than PES 2013 but it also seems to have the same two main flaws. Playing as "Top Player" with Colo Colo, I shouldn't be able to batter Man Utd in possession of the ball. And the CPU still seems intent on trying to force attacks all of the time. FIFA 14's demo actually seems to have a more controlled CPU when it comes to building attacks.

The pace of the game feels good, the pitch feels the right size and passing is fun. It's definitely a very good game but the ease of keeping possession is a major dampener for me.

Use the d-pad instead to sub players btw as analogue is extremely frustrating.

After about 20 games now, I agree with the earlier poster who said this is like the spiritual successor to PES 5/6. It's like the titles in between were a bad dream. The lack of weather is a bummer as is the reduction in the number of stadiums but the focus needs to be the gameplay. Downloaded the FIFA demo for the heck of it, tried about 5 games and its the same game as FIFA 10/11/12/13.

And yes, as someone who has been playing a lot of PES 2013 recently (on manual) PES 2014 definitely feels more difficult in that regard.

I need to ask, after injecting the demo to Flash Drive, how can i move the demo from flash drive to my Xbox? I found the game in "My games", but I can only launch or delete, and running it from flash memory seems unnecessary.


EDIT: Nevermind, found it. Settings - System - Storage - Select the flash drive - Demos - Select PES 2014 - Move.

Btw, manual shooting way way more difficult. On PES 2013, manual shooting was still only I felt about 60% manual but on here, the CPU doesn't correct anything for you. Some embarrassing shots but at least when you score, you know it's all you.

Also disagree a little with the gk's being that bad. They're way better than before and I've lost count of the number of times I know in 2013, the gk would never have made the save but on the 2014 demo they do.
