Hi Zee

when you first play it you can't help think it has delay. more zoomed in camera angles help with the pace of it and seems quicker.

once you go through the transitional period you notice that there is in fact no lag/delay. if you hold sprint and decide to quickly turn to receive an on coming ball the player can miss it, this might need cleaning up by konami but this for me is mainly down to abusing the sprint, once I stopped doing that I could keep track of the passes better and "locking" on was no longer a real issue.

for me this game does not have delay, I actually like it. It feels that you need to consider the body position of the player, the foot planting of the opponent when you shift your man, body feint of movement to get the opponent into a position where you can simply use your foot planting, skills to create the space.

the way the players feel, I can't say anyone on the demo felt the same, each player felt unique.

I can only imagine what 11v11 would be like this as playing a pirlo role, helping dictate the pass, keep the ball ticking or a winger who looks to try and do a bit of magic. when you find your self playing 1v1 and you get into those positions with the players you can feel how the game changes, you are in that role.

for me that is as close a simulation you can get and that is what has drawn me into this game.

I hope they don't make it to quick on responsiveness, that will have a knock on affect to the overall feel of the game. less arcade the better for me
Hmmmm Thought so. Reading jimmys impressions gave me the same impression.

I hope konami dont make it turn on a dime stuff then. It irks me that people play the game and instead of trying to learn the game and understand the nuances they dismiss it as a flaw.

Its been the bane of PES for a while now which is why I was happy that konami didnt have 2 demos with feedback. Here's hoping mate.

Bitter that stream is a joy to watch. It actually relaxes me, I am mesmerized just watching the gameplay. Man the old lady is going to be mad at my lack of household chores when I get my hand on the full game.:COAT:

Possible stadiums? Stadion Eden, Prague or Cardiff City Stadium.
Both are Super Cup 2013 and 2014 venues.
CL Final 2014 is already included, it's Da Luz

I think from what I understood is that creating template combos of all these mixes for every team was time consuming etc.

But that's in the past now since we have 3rd and 4th kits now.

I completely missed that news:BLINK: Is that for all teams in the game now, including ones we create ourselves?

Including 3rd and 4th kits is practically a necessity now due to the poor choice of change colours used by many teams in real-life. Some are just ridiculous such as Bursaspor - all three kits contain green and white.

Instead of 3rd kits I would much prefer the ability to mix and match shirts, shorts, and socks.

Of course, 3rd kits in addition to that would be ideal.

Brasileiro is one of the worst offenders in my opinion. I swear, every kit is black and white! Constant clashing. :P

Indeed. We'll see. Granted I haven't played the demo so my opinion on the response issues is entirely based on hearsay.

This is a bit presumptuous, but I honestly believe that a lot of people don't understand the concept of momentum and inertia, nor do they realize the importance of body position/subtle movements in football (or sports in general). I'd wager that a lot of people coming from FIFA will write off PES as being unresponsive and sluggish because they're so used to players that stop and start in the blink of an eye. Players swivel, turn, and "skate" in an unrealistic fashion. They might be in for a rude awakening.

YouTube - [TTB] PES 2014 - Bayern Munich Vs Manchester United - Newer Code Gameplay

TTB posted new vid on 3rd of September 2013. Based on what we will be getting on 11th/12th in demo ;).

Check this beauty out! WHAT A GAME! WHAT A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yes, you can see the licenses... ;)

Och yes, no loading texts/screens as you would expect. That was only the demo thing used for new comers ;).

Whats wrong with the defender on the 2nd goal why is he playing everyone onside at 5.05 and not stepping up?? Looks like a bug

Defensive bugs aside, the thing that impresses me the most by far is the incredibly realistic animations compared to PES 2013. Love it. No more unrealistic running :BOP:

PC should look a lot better even too, you can tell the lack of proper anti aliasing in the console version and i doubt the PC version would have any loading between transitions of play.

P.s. i wonder if the unique player tunnels can be included with user created stadiums, love how Old Trafford looks like it should compared to the Allianz

Yea, love the new animations. There's still a couple of dodgy ones in there, but coupled with the new physics engine it's amazing the difference they make to the game. In fact, I swear I'm still seeing new ones on a daily basis almost 2 weeks into the demo:))

I really like the new Manual Offside Trap, tapping the D-Pad twice away from your goal sends all your defenders out. Great when you time it right, and the potential to be badly punished if you don't.

Which is why I vowed to stop watching videos, but it was a futile effort. I can't help myself.

Me when I watch/read about new PES information.

...which is the case for me 90% of the time:LOL: Great feature though like you say, and simple to use. nice graphic on the radar too.

only 200 faces in the launch of the game!!

It's unfortunate, but I suppose something had to give in the development process. Fans demanded a new engine and they've delivered. People shouldn't expect them to have everything sorted (in terms of redoing visual assets) right out of the gate. At least they're going to offer us new faces via DLC post-release.
