I see on twitter that rain issue is all over the place, including some official gaming news twitter account. I guess they should put evo-web as the starting point of this news, because it was, isn't it. Lack of appreciation :NONO:

Anyway, it has made its way to well-known gaming sites.. EA Sports surely love this relatively negative news, but i see it will push konami at least to produce DLC or patches for rain, more generic/licensed stadium and editor, and wait why no mention on evening match.. arghh

Even that Champions League licence like i said before isn't just exclusive to Konami. I think it's EA and UEFA having some big fallout in regards to how content can be displayed ingame.

This isn't like the usual dirty tactics from EA preventing any other game form doing anything. This must be something to do with FIFA not wanting UEFA on their product or UEFA wanting to make sure they earn a percentage of money and FIFA not taking away any profits it can make. Lots of politics here.

I agree with this petition though, this exclusive licence crap needs to go. Let any game if they ave the funds strike deals with as many clubs and leagues as possible. It would make sense for clubs to want their teams to be promoted and receive profits from as many different videogames as possible. This is what fuels all the EA resentment since they have done this so much over the years with trying to buyout the competition.

No it's no wonder because the internet is full of sad little keyboard warriors who believe that issues about DRM or licenses greatly outweigh issues about global pollution or corruption to the scale of billions.

  • DRM never killed anyone slowly and cruelly like the chemical companies that leak their poisons into our water supply.
  • Acquiring licenses to a football league never forced someone to kill themself like the banks that illegally foreclose on people's homes leaving them on the streets and feeling worthless.
 
Finally got my hands on the demo despite its flaws I'm very impressed I'm loving the midfield battles alot. Having to earn a shot on goal is satisfying, it's bringing back alot of memories of the old pes I used to know, if they can iron out those minor glitches in the game I can see myself being hooked on this all year. Now just waiting for the master league news.
 
Would anyone be so kind to PM their PSN account to share the demo? After seeing all the recent news and impressions its making me want to test this out. Thanks :)!
 
Is anyone having a problem to access the PlayStation Store ?

Here it says that it's under maintenance.

I think its updated.I just checked,they add NHL 14 Demo now (there was no that demo past days).

yeah psn is probably down because of all the pes sharing lol


I highly doubt it will leak on xbox live they usually get the demos first
 
I signed that petition too, but don't think FIFA cares even if the whole world would have signed. They only care about money.

Ea pay for the licenses because they know they will get a return on the money they spend. I know Konami have less to spend on Pes. But they are still a big company that make a lot of money from their product. They could get loans to get money to buy more licenses etc and compete with EA for more licenses etc

In my mind they have for many years relied on the community to take their game to the next level, it has allowed them to be lazy and not plan properly for today.

If you have more money you buy the license like in many other parts of business. Konami can play the big bad EA card but they have to grow up and take a lot of the responsibility themselves.

There is an incompetence their, to say that it happened at the last minute and they had no power over it is just fishy IMO.

Anyway I will sign the petition, but I still think all this EA bashing and poor Konami stuff is blown out of proportion.

I remember hearing somewhere that the issue for konami wasn't about the money but being locked out of the longer standing deals that and not having the foresight to scoop up the smaller ones
