:APPLAUD: thanks bro

About GK, imo theyre very improved from 13, lots of new animations... Offcourse theres bugs, im hoping its a case of the early build, but ive seen shots go in that the GK didnt evan try to save, they just stand... looked like a beta bug to me.

Also, really nice that we have GK player ID now, Neuer signature saves are blandant to see, specially on one on ones... didnt notice any signature Buffon move though, maybe its not implementend in this demo.

It would be fantastic if Jenkey (or any other modder) succeds on adding (and not replacing) leagues and cups to ML.
But it's almost utopian.

I see your point, especially having played games like Football Kingdom and full manual Fifa, but the action in the video is still within the borders of realistic for me. In this case Robben just fails to come loose of Boateng. Should of been a free kick though.

Do note that Robben manages to keep two players behind him and make a shot on goal. At the end i rather have the Robben's and Ronaldo's in the game a little bit toned down instead of making it a mindless sprint fest.

Maybe i will change my mind when i actually play the game.

disagree mate. robben should be clean through there if the gamer is holding sprint (which he most likely was). it's happened to me many times in the demo in which i have the chance to break through then i randomly get suckered into some invisible vacuum. definetely dont expect anyone to take my word as gospel, but its happened to me many times and i feel its a big problem.

Ok got ya but its E3 code you can't assume it will be like that in the final code. I know there will be so many bugs with the leaked version everyone is playing. Unless off course u know for a fact it has that bug in the final code

nope, i dont. just discussing here. hopefully it is fixed in the 'official' demo

It's only 22 days and then you'll see what PES2014 becomes..;)

You dont have to wait 22 days because you can see in many gameplays how the game works. Only shame on Konami becasue last years demo was so much better than the full game. And some people used only the "hacked" demo still. For PES14 there are too much dribblings, to less passes and nobody can tell me that this is a simulation. PES14 looks still more like FIFA street than a football simulation.

Gutted I missed the chance to download this, wrong version or not! Craving a new football game to play at the moment and I've not played 2013 in months...

If anyone is moaning about licenses, stadiums and rain this is not your game.

There is nothing that a good option file can't do. That has always been the strategy of Konami.
They bring the liberty of the option file to the modders for doing the job of "licensing" the game, and we know that everyone do that with passion.
And the finals results are always better than the maded by the company itself.

The winning combo here always has been a Gameplay by Konami+Licenses by the fans. Every PES fans should know it.

Ok, played one game.

The Bad I immediately noticed

- There is button lag in places.
- Game is slow, very fluid animations however.
- The menu's and interface in geenral is slow, cut scenes have too much lag.
- Not enough fouls for me at all.

The good.

- Passing is 'easy' but still retains a lot of realism in its physics even on 3 bars.
- CPU (Bayern Munich) where patient in possession.
- All round presentation, collisions physics seem very very good.

There are and will be a few issues wih this code but its very impressive.

I would calm down if you fear the worst. This will be a quality game. don't worry about not playing it since its probably bette rto wait for the proper demo in September.

More to follow.

I know it’s just a unofficial demo but I would really like to know how AI behaves on higher difficulty settings (particularly in defence).
Is there any hint on possession football? Can you have 70% possession against CPU without breaking a sweat?
5 min matches – I know, but I would like to hear your opinion anyways.

There is some good news for modding community. Electronic Farts can go fart themselves (as usual).

PES is big on editing so the option to add more leagues should be there already, plus an option to add cup competitions to the leagues.

So for instance you could then create the whole English leagues from the Premiership right down to the Conference north and south leagues to have proper promotions/relegations. Then you could add the FA Cup and Capital One Cup then have proper cup competitions in those leagues.

Well yes and no, technically it's just a competition, but, you can do lots of things with it and don't Konami use it as a means to get teams into the game they can't get in by any other means due to "locked out™" licenses?

Either way I enjoy what Konami do with the Europa/UCL license in ML and wish it was available in Fifa's CM (sorry folks).

That's what i mean.. you still can't have proper 1st div league structure.. even if all the bundesliga teams are qualified for CL which is also never happen. What's really the point of having them ?

What do you think EA's reason to make an exclusive deals with teams from the beginning ? One of them is to lock out license, isn't it ;) Not necessarily, i say this is incorrect in business point of view though.

Lami, i do know Konami read forums, but it is not because you read everything that you really listen to what your customers want.

I'm a fan of the SSX-series of a company called EA-sports. You zhould know how these developers are in constant contact with the internet community of fans....here is an example that Konami should follow. I'm not in the mood to explain all this, just google 'merqury city' a d they a look at those forums and how the development team interacts with the Lami's of that community.... A huge difference.

Yeah I know. What I meant is I don't know how Konami chooses what to take and what not to. As for other companies I do know they have their own official forums and personnel directly in contact with their members, i.e. The civilization game.

well for me this game leans heavily on possession and you have to work hard to keep the ball I'm what you call the average pes player so I sweated a bit. I usualy have about 60% on average plus this demo seems quite tough but I don't know what setting its on as there is only one difficulty setting but having said that there is some lag which could explain some of the difficulty im having

that's definitely an issue, there is seems to be a force that stop players from sprinting.

There is also definitely less freedom in passing lanes and off the ball runs compared to pes 2012/13, more angular, more old school even in full manual. Which ins't bad by any means, it give the game the proper inertia/weight feeling that has lost since the days of pes6. But u could easily play this demo with the Dpad.

for those finding the game too slow i thought the same at the beginning but now that i got the hang of it i actually feel it's slightly too fast on 0 (pretty zoomed camera though 4-5 zoom).
Like in the old days u have to be very careful with the sprint button, almost not use it at all.

r2 dribbling still a bid stiff and dodgy at time. in general turning around needs smoothing out.

one little thing: powerbar way to fast in filling in, that needs to be adjusted for sure. u touch it for a moment and it's already at full power.

my guess all these things have already been fixed for demo 2.

Just wanted to say thanks to the users who offered to share the game. I wont mention them because i dont want them inundated with requests.

its a beta mate, you cant even change the difficulty lol, no idea what level its on.

The CPU keep possession better than in any other football title you can play, no just aimless possession, the sit and wait for openings.

Just heard EA bought the rights for Sergio Ramos, so he won't be in PES2014. If you try to create him EA will send you a fine. It won't even be possible to create a faked one with a classic faked "Pes- name" such as "Gresio Maros", this will also get you fined.

Speaking of "classic faked Pes- names", am I the only one who hopes PES loses all their licenses and return to the good ole days with Lombardia, Piemonte, Charmantin and Catunya etc etc? Nostalgic shit!

Demo is on superstar difficulty, according to Asim Tanvir.

Btw some nice dribbling :WORSHIP:

Haha sad that people still believes in Konami. I think they do everything to stop editing. You dont read about news about Jenkey, Nesa, Yair and some other modders dont you? Or do you think there are happy when Bundesliga or some other leagues for which they got no license appears ingame? And i thought the new engine is for gameplay also and not only for graphic stuff like anybody can see. When the low ball possession for CPU is still there its not more than a bad joke and the same as for PES13.

I remember Mutu not being in PES or FIFA one year, but was definitely called something similar, so I can definitely believe that individual players can ask for likeness rights or something like that. I believe it has something to do with badly being 'misrepresented as a person' or something like that, they could potentially sue so could ask to be taken out, or ask for money to be included.

However, this is the first time I can remember hearing of rumour's of a player being not included at all, not even with a fake name.

I hope this isn't the start of a bigger trend, the clubs are one thing, but if we started losing more than just the odd player, that really creates a big problem.

you mean in this thread ?

http://www.evo-web.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=264

Low ball possesion does not mean it is bad ? Think that you meet Barca.. they play possesion as they do in real life, and you just sit there chasing after them.. you want that ? :CONFUSE:

Plus.. there should be more reason for low cpu possesion --> we spend much more time just passing the ball that can also be attributed to CPU's tight defense :P

Yup, with UEFA deal, Konami are allowed to use the likeness for Champions League and Europa League, clubs, match ball and the venue for Champions League final. But it doesn't lock out any third party from getting the deal with those clubs individually and their respective FA (ie, Dortmund). They just lock them out from the championship, just like what EA always did with FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro and Champions League.

Having advanced shooting mapped the the left stick is causing me problems, the reason being the left stick is also move so when i shot and aim my player moves cuasing them to run into defenders

Also the direction you aim is different to where the ball goes so you need to remember the directions

Now Asim can no longer criticize this petition. FIFA fans can show their support as well. It actually benefit many party, not just for protecting one side interest only. I don't think it will change anything, nonetheless a good early step and sign of eradicating monopolization in sports.
