Well it seems big at first but then you start noticing how much of the wall is not being used up and try to calculate how much bigger a screen you could fit in there ;)

Not sure if you saw it earlier but this is the screen:

See I could definitely get like a 160" or something in there ;)

Niiiicei recently bought my 1st home and the entertainment room has dwarfed my 51' plasma. Been eyeing the projectors

I'm happy enough with 47" screen. An HD projector may just be a worthy investment in the future for me, thanks for the info Placebo.

Unfortunately I cannot answer.

I just started to explore this pkg thing today exclusively for PES :D

The actual official firmware is 4.46, but if it would run with lower CFW I have no clue.

that was a ball ache. all to play a demo that has old code lol

updated firmware to 4.41 just ftp game again and will try again
 
OT I know but if you ever get the opportunity to get a home projector it's so worth it, watching something like Game of Thrones in FullHD on 120" laid in bed next to your wife is awesome, except for the nudie bits where you pretend to look disinterested ;)

I tried on official 4.46 and it's not working.
Others said also, that you need CFW.. :(

I'm more of a Spartacus guy and it would be sick to watch that on a projector :SMUG:
 
Hi, i know i do not post here very often, so you don't know me very well, but i follow this site for many years now, and everytime i talked with someone it was always with respect, and i would like to ask if anyone is available to share with me your account details so i can download the demo, i would be much appreciated, of course i will understand if no one do it, because i am such afraid of this things like you, so thats a reason for you to try and trust me :) thanks in advance ;)

No. Retail was only behind closed doors then. Public had a different one but still better than what you guys currently have I think. The best one is what was behind closed doors and what I've played, the 90% code. This should be the one everyone's getting Sep 11.

I've only played the CPU once tbh so wouldn't be sensible doing that. Didn't have much time with sliders as well. The only one I've played with was switching to a defensive strategy which was better for me.

That tells me Konami delayed the Demo to try to fix what was broken. They toned down A LOT OF THINGS, like Cloth Physics, but it's still sluggish, it still lags. Perhaps less than in the leaked demo, but not fully fixed. Aren't you worried?.

It's not as bad as this demo you're playing mate. People did complain about lag back then and it got toned down in the version I played. 0 wasn't bad but it was slow for me. Some might actually enjoy it but I much preferred +2 still. Can still see how 0 might affect online though tbh.

What the hell, they only realized the lag weeks before going gold during a more, than 2 years of development.

The toned down graphics could be seen already on the AFC trailer which looked already really cartoonish and PS2.

Seems, that KONAMI is fucking up again big time.

Shame, because based on what I've seen I have been really optimistic, as most of you.

Graphics aren't toned down in the code I played and that was 90%. So don't worry.

I was honest with Adam and told him the AFC trailer doesn't represent the gameplay.

So I've been lucky enough to DL the PSN demo. My initial impressions after 5 or so games

Graphics are streets ahead of PES2013
Animations are some of the best I've ever seen.
It can be so fluid and smooth at times. (So fluid and gorgeous that I sometimes press R2 to run)
The lighting effects are great. But not as great as I was expecting.
CPU play well and retain a lot of the ball.
Goalkeepers are worrying make no mistake
The response time issue is bad. Playing on +2 does help. But it's still bad. It's not impossible to play however I do think it makes it impossible to defend at the moment.

Noticed many still complaining about GKs. Also saw a video. I'll just say in the version I played I hardly saw any of these bad moments. Was actually preparing myself for bad keeping but was positively surprised with improved lifelike animations and saves etc.

Turns out there was something wrong with my PS3. I turned it off, and forced it to re-recognize my TV+HDMI and now it's looking the way it should. Thanks.
 
After 2-3 hours playing heres my impressions, im absolutlly optimistic about this game, evan more now.. theres some really really good stuff in it, and this engine seems and feel to have the potential to bring football games to another level, said that offcourse this demo SCREAMS "not ready" and its perfecly understandable Konami didnt want to share this build with us, its totally an unfinnish product.

More specific on stuff, i agree with the guy who said this is in a way simillar to FIFA08, u can definttly feel lots of times where u loose control of your player because he is performing an animation wich is annoying, but at the same time the heaviness of things feel good imo, realistic...

My final feeling after playing it is that Konami has on their hands something incredible, kind of what EA had back in 06 with FIFA07 and this engine they still use... I have the same feeling, that they finnaly have the engine, now we just need to give them time and thell bring PES back to its glory!
