Demo sounds shit. And if Lami still thought there was a big delay on 90% code then it will probably still be there in retail... I'm scared, men.
 
The reason the demo was pulled was that it was the incorrect version.
The proper version is out on 10th.
Why are people gagging to play an unfinished version? So they can moan about it?

3 weeks tomorrow you will have the full release to play with. I just dont get peoples mentality these days.

Whatever happened to patience?

The proper #PES2014 demo will release on the 11th of September on PS3 and 12th on Xbox 360. Please be patient, you won't be disappointed.
 
not sure how it works but how did sony get hold of it in the first place? why would Konami send the wrong demo..best solution is to get the proper one online asap

This is the demo that was supposed to get released in August and was sent to Sony at the end of July. Now you can see how "fast" Sony are working. 1 month for a demo to get released.
Sony are really failing, first GTA V and now the old PES demo.

...and the auto-cue is back on @ PR. We get that the demo is "Not representative of the final game", but that could mean anything, its so vague. It might even mean that Robben's haircut is different in the final version.

How bout something along the lines of "This code is old, for example it has slow respons times, the framerate is not optimized and GK AI has been tweaked since then, among many other things."

Now that would put me (us) at rest tonight.
 
I'm officially worried.

The realistic scenario for me is, that the final code will have much more toned down graphics and still input lag.

What the hell, they only realized the lag weeks before going gold during a more, than 2 years of development.

What a fucking bullshit company.

The toned down graphics could be seen already on the AFC trailer which looked already really cartoonish and PS2.

Seems, that KONAMI is fucking up again big time.

Shame, because based on what I've seen I have been really optimistic, as most of you.

You're crazy.. really.. LOTS and LOTS of people that played at Gamescom and even in Dubai said the graphics are very nice.. and now you come crying about it... really?
 
Konami, the only way not to lose fans, please forget about alleged release date, and deliver to all (xbox, ps3, pc) 90% demo , are having a hard time and can not fall lower please release demo,and mouth shut everyone

Yes, they said it looks great, but still has lag.

I don't see much possibility to improve performance in the last days other, than toning down gfx and removing details.

Let me allow to stay skeptical until I can play it
and you can stay optimistic and I hope I will be the one who was wrong in the end.

Please understand, not many people understand or care about the details. It is stock answer, the easiest to understand and the safest one. They have to protect their interest at the same time. Standard PR stuff.

- There is button lag in places.
- Game is slow, very fluid animations however.
- The menu's and interface in geenral is slow, cut scenes have too much lag.
- Not enough fouls for me at all.

The good.

- Passing is 'easy' but still retains a lot of realism in its physics even on 3 bars.
- CPU (Bayern Munich) where patient in possession.
- All round presentation, collisions physics seem very very good.

There are and will be a few issues wih this code but its very impressive.

I would calm down if you fear the worst. This will be a quality game. don't worry about not playing it since its probably bette rto wait for the proper demo in September.

All this talk about sharing demo, are you sure you aren't breaking any PSN license / subscription agreement? On Steam for example, it is prohibited to sharing your account with multiple person. If they found out, they can decide to suspend or even terminate your account depend on the severity of the offense. I don't know if Sony has ever done something like this though. Just a friendly reminder.
 
For all limitations that KONAMI to meet the expectations of fans, as far as I have noticed a lot of new things that have been brought on PES 2014. Indeed always there will be skepticism that appears, but simply we must limit this imagination to the next fundamental improvements; that we will able bring the real soccer match into our home. PES series I think very big chance to do this as long as KONAMI did not try to fool the fans as other developers have done it.
