Looks like we're going to need Jenkey's animation boost tool.

Because I don't want to increase the speed anything over 0, but just the animations. Animations need a boost. As do goalkeepers.
 
It's unfortunate that this was released. Assuming they did in fact fix the response issues and input lag, all this demo is going to do is leave a poor first impression. Oh well.

Good :BOP:,Fifa 08 is maybe the best football game of this generation, hope Konami doesn't listen to all of arcade fans and keep the slower pace of the game(30 minutes matches@manual).
P.S: I understand why some of you feel the game is too slow, but you should realise you are playing 5 minutes halves.
 
Just recorded a match, will be really boring to watch! Didn't help I didn't change the controls to how I normally play, yeah I know my excuse ;)
 
I don't think the game's speed is the problem (although it might give you that illusion), it's the fact players literally take seconds to respond.
 
after my first match santos- Bayern I got a 0-0 draw most of the action was in the middle of the park the ball does feel free as I picked up a lot of loose balls due to some poor first touch of some players but I think I need to play abit more to give a better opinion
 
Ok, played one game.

The Bad I immediately noticed

- There is button lag in places.
- Game is slow, very fluid animations however.
- The menu's and interface in geenral is slow, cut scenes have too much lag.
- Not enough fouls for me at all.

The good.

- Passing is 'easy' but still retains a lot of realism in its physics even on 3 bars.
- CPU (Bayern Munich) where patient in possession.
- All round presentation, collisions physics seem very very good.

There are and will be a few issues wih this code but its very impressive.

I would calm down if you fear the worst. This will be a quality game. don't worry about not playing it since its probably bette rto wait for the proper demo in September.

Sony as been joking on Rockstar games and Konami. Wow, soon or later this 2 companies goes to the judgment. And i'm here laughing so loud. :FAIL:

very true the best game of football there's been for a while
 
First impression of the demo is quite good, the improved inertia and animations feels amazing but it makes it feel a bit sluggish, just a matter of time before getting used to it probably.

The goalkeepers need some fixing though, this happened my first match:

I know this is an early code so hopefully there's nothing to get worried about.

This is an old code, probably from just after E3.

In general it seems quite 'unfinished' even for a demo but very impressive.

It will be the game which will meet peoples expectations, it will take a long time to get used to, very different from PES 2013 in a good way.

Try not to expect to say WOW, this is AMAZING BEST GAME EVERR!!! I LOVE THIS. I don't think that will happen, will take time to see how deep the game truly is.

Also in Tactics I'm happy that a few of them have been extended so i can use them all without needd to use standard so the CPU can interchange more fluidly between them when the game is released.

Good times man, don't take PR so seriously, its the game that is important. Not PR.

Yes that's what i mean by sluggish and the reason i went +2. I was playing 90% code btw, which is considered finished.

Just found out the old code demo dropped :LOL:

Guys with demo, please try +2 speed and report on everything from animations to passes and shots etc, even if it's a much older code.
 
Guys... all this old code conversation... It's been the same since PES 2008. The final version was always poor.

Why we still believe in it?
