the people on this forum say no rain in the game, but if the game got the rain when you start a match with rain, you say ohhh f.ck the rain again.

Guys, konami stayed on WC2010 + WC2014 in Brazil + massive America licence = they think sunny weather is enough.
Ho and you forget EPL dont use license? Playing EPL game with rain will be realistic and they must keep the fake aspect ^^

P.S : J-league look not used in defaut pes2014 game (only for we2014 or later DLC?).

P.S 2: Someone know if ACL teams will use faces or all players will be only generic with licencied data/team logo/kits?
I am sure the 4 Japanese teams will use complete data from JWE2013 but i a afraid about others teams...

Well, as for me, it is a matter of not having it as an option of weather that takes away some excitement. Not that i really want to play in rainy match. The fact is i never want to select a rainy match in PES 2013.

Even in FIFA with it's physical effect on how the ball behaves, i never want to play in that weather. I never find them fun/challenging to play at all. It just feel weird. As much as i never enjoy any football game played in rainy day on my TV screen

The same happens with evening match, as much as i love the evening light.. i eventually don't really miss that throughout each match in PES 2013.

It still leaves a little disappointment though if it never makes it in PES 2014. Since, it is supposed to be brand new engine, sure the expectation is a bit high on the graphical stuff. However, i may at the end try to accept if the reason is frame rate issue or it is better to not having it at all if when the gameplay effect is not technically satisfying.

Probably, Key Masuda is perfectionist in a positive way. He does not want the overall advancement of graphical sides in PES 2014 ruins by the so so rain animation, effects, and its impact on gameplay, player model, etc.

The hell with rainy match, the game looks awesome.. i am happy i can get through it :P

22 days until release and we have. No stadium list, no edit mode info, no master league info, no team list either... Konami like to keep this relationship exciting don't they

People have cancelled pre-order cos of no rain?

I guess people have to complain about something. Who cares re rain? Of all the problems the PES has had current gen the rain or lack of seriously isnt one of them. Other things needed to be addressed and they have been. Id rather that than rain.

If you are that desparate for rain then buy a PS4 or Xbox1.
 
that could be a good thing, it is most likely a human controlled and he thought he was going to lock on to it and turn away with it?

"The Rain" is just a metaphor in this case. A metaphor about the unknown. We have no solid info about game modes, no info about edit mode, no info about online. We have just recently been informed that 11v11 will come as a patch in October. No demo for PC, because of licences issues... right. No STEAM pre order, hopefully Day 1 release. The only thing we know and is certain, is that the game looks gorgeous and plays very differently to any other football game ever created. There are a lot of questions that are waiting to be answered, I just hope that we won't hear about them just like we had with the "Rain".

Yes, it hurts me that we won't be seeing rain this year as well as snow, but it isn't a gamebreaker, is it?

Its not a gamebreaker at all and tbh its becoming a bit of a pisstake. We look for news and the moment there is negativity we go bat shit crazy and label it as failure. More proof that interaction with fans is a bad idea.

10 pages is far too much based on a simple thing like rain. We are wearing our retard label well

Also Konami need to get this damn demo out!!!

FFS, I'd rather them cut-back on frivolities like rain then scale back the engine processes to compensate. This should be a good sign, evidence that the tech is pushing the console to the absolute limits.

PES4 had empty stadiums, which were much more immersion breaking. Did that make it a poor game? Of course not. Rain would be a nice addition to the ML experience, but it's so far down the list of concerns its absence isn't even worth discussing.

Seriously. I understood the outrage last year over Boot Gate, as it was a choice rather than a compromise. But here, Konami aren't removing it to offer as DLC or w.e, it's simply to allow the gameplay as much computation as possible on this gen. How is that unreasonable?

I'll be hugely pissed off if they buckle, and we get rain at the expense of the frame-rate or whatever.

Rain;PES 2014 may be made in "November Rain"So far the perspective of PES 2014 more convincing. a good graphic quality have also been produced with a perfect gameplay; Determine the decision of the pre order ...

Lets edit the PES 2014 ball with Assad faces, that model could kick in by all gamers.Fuck off Asssad, Hopefully he murdered by his own people ...

No offence Gerd but that's no perspective, gaming like most forms of entertainment are meant to serve as a form of escapism, there are always horrific acts being committed by mankind and if we sat there dwelling on them all we would simply put a bullet in our heads, games, books, movies, tv shows, music, porn, etc they're there to escape ;)

Indeed Placebo.
Using the chemical substances seems to horrify people but what do they think has been happening during all this time ? Syrians are being killed every single day, without the use of chemicals.
