I've also got a PS3 but very rarely use it as I do all my gaming on my PC. I will be trying the demo on my PS3 but it is going to be horrible with 5 minute matches and a long video after every game.

Now, I'm just wondering what would be your reaction if I was to post 'boo-hoo console players' if it was the other way round?

Wouldn't it be possible to release the entire game but only enabling you to actually play for a limited amount of time? Surely releasing the game via Steam should make it possible to do that without the risk of unscrupulous modders hacking the time limit?

Anyone who 'hacked the shit out of it' still went on to buy the full game, because even with a load of teams unlocked what can you do? Pointless exhibition matches. I agree with Sim - this is not a clever move by Konami, especially considering the average PC gamer's feelings towards EA right now. Alienating PC gamers in this way isn't smart.

Ok Lami, you can't possibly say that its ok for them to play this PR game with us. They knew they were releasing the PC demo after the launch all along anyways, so why come out and say you are releasing the demo as a favor to us? Bullshit!

That's me not buying on release day then..no demo is a joke ..what annoys me more is Adam has been asked for weeks about the PC demo and the response was he didn't know..companies don't make decsisons like this overnight they are planned weeks in advance ..oh well still not going to stop the modders

Quite so. I'd probably get the demo, play it to death for a few days and then go ahead and pre order the game. Now? Konami have just opened a window of opportunity for Fifa as presumably that game's demo will be out before PES 14 itself?

No demo? When? Where?

there will be a demo just not as early as we have become accustomed to. Rightly so as well. Demo is indicative of the game. If you like it buy it. If not move on.

that is not to be sniffed at, surely!

I take it the PC version will be decent graphics and better frame rate than the xbox 360?

I think it's a cop-out mate. It's not as if the demo is being released over two months before retail like last year.

60fps, 1080p or higher, HD kits and pitch textures etc.
 
I don't know how these companies work man but I feel they take their licensing deals very seriously. They don't like being messed with.
 
We dont know this.

Konami may be in licensing deal talks or negotiations and someone unlocks a team placed there without confirmation because of short timelines. Then the video gets uploaded and an unconfirmed team is shown on PES 2014...sounds logical to me

Why pray tell would konami spite their fans?!
