I'm not sure the PC guys can complain tbh. You know it's a hacking issue and as a company they have every right to delay or cancel it. Personally I think delaying until release day or day before should be ok if it's a license issue. But don't go blaming konami fully for what the PC community has done throughout the years to their game.

I feel sorry for the legit ones.

It is definitely their right to do so but I think that will sadly have a consequence of increasing the illegal downloading of the game.
Some people aren't willing to just buy a game (even if on the pc it's cheaper than on the console) without testing its demo.I see it as a wrong solution for a real problem.

I can ask but can't do much mate. It's their game and they have every right to do so because of the past.

I'm not sure this is an excuse to pirate. Piracy was always here no matter what. You really think piracy would increase because of this? People have always been using the same excuse of pirating the game first to test waters before buying the game. So not totally sure this makes any difference anyway.

I'm not saying it's a valid excuse to download a game but I can tell you a lot of people will delude themselves into thinking it. The difference in terms of sales will not be huge anyway so I often wonder why do they even bother with the PC version ? They should just stop making the game on it.

But I even wonder, with this proposal to you, some friends on this forum think I was a console gamer. :FAIL: LOL. calm down my friend I was a PC gamer like you guys, have a sense of envy the same to console gamers PES 2014 and so far not for next gen toys gamer . Because there is no PES 2014 demo for the next gen toys..

You're probably right, I'm a bit pissed as I've been waiting for this bloody demo for a while now. I should have known something wasn't right since they never mentioned a pc demo not even once.
Luckily for me I think my mate will download the demo on his 360.

Yes let's make the game only on limited console hardware :FAIL:.
I hope you realise even these so called next-gen consoles are equiped with mid-end mobile hardware, ffs even my 2 years old PC is almost as powerful as Xbox One. And we are going to have these underpowered consoles for the next 7 to 10 years :BRICK:.A proper high-end PC although costs 1500-2000$ is 4-5 times more powerful than PS4/Xbox One and guess what ?! for the long term is cheaper to buy 30/45$ than 60$ console inferior versions of games.
P.S: Sorry for off-topic but this thread is derailing and this is only Konami's fault , at least they could say the demo was delayed till September but their PR section is as bad as any other Japanese PR team...

To say that there wont be no PC demo is ok.
But to hide behind lie that modders are guilty is a rude lie.
Every game/software and every beta (PES/FIFA/L4D/CS/NBA...) has been modded and thats why modding works...
Noone cant hide bad quality of PC version.

Modding?
What a joke...

Well in 4 weeks all will see that full game isnt as good as E3 shown one.

Game companies don't like their games hacked. If there are licenses involved then it's worse.

Just because it doesn't suit you doesn't mean you're right.

And keep it respectful, please. Stop trolling in here. We'll know when playing the demo, thanks.

Let's forget the demo issue..
Who've seen the PES 2014 PC preview what is best to be informed please telling us...... with 100 KB/s download speed I will have to wait 30 more minutes #embarrassing internet speed in my f''' country.

Gamescom gameplay videos are the best of all we've seen till today.
Better than E3, much better than chile/italy videos, much better than IGN.
Well done KONAMI.
Especially the 60 fps video is stunning.
Lob passes are working now perfectly, and we saw one hand save by the keeper.
Excellent.

For me personally PES and FIFA have only left two chances each:
1.) a finally good version on PS3
2.) good next gen version

if they keep messing around with this genre and if they are not able to transport the good old "one more game" feeling etc. I will quit playing soccer games and focus on other genres. ;)

I wonder if they plan to do this every year for PC users. Why not just strip out all the useless data before compiling the PC demo.
