The cover means fuck all to me, I figure I get to see it twice at max in an entire year anyway.
 
The cover is nothing special at all. A little bit boring, but it could have become worse...
The most important is the content of the disc - the game itself... :D ;)

In before you find an empty case with just a sticker which says "please install this game via Steam by redeeming this code: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX"

By the way, I'm feeling positive about this game. Can't wait to try at least the demo!
 
Box art means nothing. But it only helps to have a nice looking one. As I said before they shoul copy the Chilean box art with champions league teams & players... Would be spectacular & excellent marketing.
 
Amazon have used "placeholder" type boxart in the past, let's not draw conclusions, I've seen some fifa's before with basic artwork prior to release, and then its been updated.
 
Plus PES2014 will ve available via digital download,

So no box
No Import costs
No transport costs
No Printing costs

and a couple of quid higher price

It's very much different from what was produced in the previous version of PES KONAMI. Finally, the perfect editing 3d quality presented by KONAMI. HQ Face model ;4 PC gamer; Fraps and snapshoot directly will produce a more perfect facial details....
Although FIFA has long been repairing quality 3d faces of players, but I'm sure that this time PES 2014 is not present with 3d graphics improvements only, but a lot of things that will make us by surprise ... Can't wait for the demo.

I'm tempted by the PSN download, hopefully it won't be a stupid price.
 
#PES2014 official release dates also confirmed! Mainland Europe - Thursday September 19th, UK - Friday September 20th
 
I assume they will just re-submit the final code as a demo hence the extra 3 week delay. They must obviously feel strongly about the improvements made in the last month otherwise they'd let us play the demo that was supposedly submitted to MS and Sony the other week. That's my explanation anyway.

Thought the trailer was really well done though. Great job the way they built the drama and played on the UCL license and the giant killing "heart" feature. Much more appropriate music too ;) Me likey.

Best things come to those who wait.

The two demos has been a farce the last few years cos the games were clearly not ready.

Demo being released a week before full release means it will be pretty much the game you are buying.
