There may still be a few weird looking animations left in the game but overall it's more than a great forward jump in that aspect. I honestly wonder what it will be on the next gen of games.

I agree with u here bro. Some people just look at this few weird animations with a microscope and make it seem as if its a HUGE issue that needs sorting out or its game breaker. We havent even played and felt the game yet so how can we come to conclusions.

There you go, the online crowd trying to stop innovation once again.

Triple pressure can be a really quality addition. It added another depth to the tactical gameplay, considering many people were complaining the defensive side of previous games couldn't match the variety of attacking play. It's legit tactic in real-life as well. It's all depend on the execution, which remain to be seen.

Yet another example of how online is ruining SP gaming.

"Ruin" might be bit strong, maybe "hinder" is more accurate. The thing is they're too vocal, like the game should be catered exclusively toward online play. Worst when Heart feature was announced and the level of pass assistance.

Sure some of the concerns are legit, but most of the time it is little bit knee-jerking.

use online stores for pre-order, or try fnac or worten. if you have doubt send me pm.

Ohhhh okok.... do you know how much does it cost(+/-)
And are those things trustworthy? :COAT:
I'm gonna see what they have.... and maybe i'll pre-order this time!! :TTTH:
Thanks!

No, I'd definitely go with ruin in some cases. Maybe not this time, but here are a couple of great examples:

In the Total War series, they nerfed archers' range when elevated because MP complained about players camping on hills. That's what armies do. They take a hill and it's up to you to figure out a way to get them down! They bloody better reimplement archers' elevated range bonus for Rome 2...

And my all time favourite: health regen. In every shooter since Halo, we've had this stupid health regen system that drains all the tension from SP games. Why use caution when you know that you can duck behind a wall when riddled with an MG42, and know you'll be fine in a few seconds? It works with MP, but it ruins SP!

Sorry about the brief
:OT:

Let's hope that all this 'expert feedback from the community' is not necessarily cast aside by the team creating PES but truly studied in order not impact their vision of the game. And so that their vision for the game is realised fully. Criticism for the sake of it, helps nobody, it has to be realistic and constructive criticism that Konami should listen to and only then should they consider changing things that they truly believe need to be sorted out.

Goalkeepers, Referees, 'Player awareness' and possibly some of the 'scripting' would be things Id modify. PES on Ps1 and Ps2 was great for its time and can sometimes be even enjoyed today. But that era is over, and this one will be over soon, with the PS4 etc. coming out soon. I played PES 2013 for a long time, and had no major issues with difficulty, AI, Goalkeepers, Referees etc but I still acknowledge that those things can be improved, always. I conceded possibly only one or two goals in my entire time playing it, where I felt like that was the 'script' making sure I concede. Won the Champions League on Superstar, and had a lot of fun in my Master League, the boots issue was not major because I could choose to just not use it.

All this fanboy drivel of people who have no inkling of how the process works is really disheartening. I know that the true fans of the franchise, truly want the best for the series without having the creators lose their take on the beautiful game. Konami creates a game according to their own philosophy, that philosophy used to be a game where realism and arcade fun were so beautifully weaved together that what the consumer experienced was pure football emotion. This gen that vision has morphed into something different but still with that bit of 'PES Soul' in it.

Did the series decline after PS2, absolutely.
Did the series get back to respectable levels of playability? Absolutely.
Is PES 2013 the best version of PES ever? Debatable, but it very likely is.
Will PES 14 be the best ever? I don't know yet because I haven't extensively sat down to play it as I do not have it my console. But when I purchase it, I will make a completely neutral judgement on its Pros and Cons without going into it expecting the next coming of Maradona in video game form.

Superb post - it pretty much covers my sentiments.

Anybody believe it? In particular Liga Germania with correct players name

Chile gonna have first division 100%

Calm down mate...If you don't like my posts and my opinion you could buy the game for me...If you want to pay for my PES 2014 i am ok and i will stop to see some bad things about the new game...

.................

For other guys...Pre-order the game without demo? Hahahahahahaha...You watched 3 videos without shoot and you will pre-order a game...Good job KONAMI with fanboys...

You are crazy:)) Konami have kept their head down and done some great work, Pes fans will have the best possible base for next gen while maxing out the power of this gen giving us a football experience prob never had b4. No one expects the game to be without flaws but it will be the best football game on the market boasting the best graphics (depending on were u stand on the argument) + Animations never seen b4 in Pro evo so its all up from here dude, relax be happy remember it is just a game.

I'm really hoping this is the game to bring me back to PES :)

Its been a long time and no matter how good FIFA is / has been lately it still cant fill that PES shaped hole in my life :D

I hope we get to see some figures as to how many people have come back to PES, I have a really good feeling about this game now and think Konami are going to get a lot of their old fans back :)

I never pre-orded a game, how does that work... where can I do that here in Portugal(I know there is Portuguese people on this forum) :TTTH:
Sorry my ignorance about this.... but I usualy don't trust these things.... I like to go to the store and but at the momment! :JAY:

I wouldn't bother pre-ordering. Never understood why people do--with any game for that matter. There'll be plenty of copies available all over the place. Game might be shit too. Will wait to see what impression the game leaves with people on here who loved PS2 PES but have been unhappy with PES in recent years before I take the plunge.

Can someone tell this is true?
They saying up there we need to buy a pre new DLC after we buy the game?

Well, when Xcom Enemy Unknown was on pre order, you got Civ 5 with it. And with Xcom Unclassified, you get Xcom Enemy Unknown and all the rest of the Xcom collection. That's a good enough reason. ;)

If people don't pre-order and rush out and buy games on release day, how can they log onto internet forums the following day to express their outrage at ________ for putting out such an awful game and for ripping off their customers? Because if you wait and you don't buy it, and the game turns out to be crap, it doesn't matter to you one iota whether the game is awful or not.

In this case, that seems like a very good deal and a solid reason to pre-order. Not the case for most games though.

You can still do that without pre-ordering.

Yup, and that fits exactly with the point I was making while backing up your comment. I haven't had any need to blast any game or game dev in years, simply because I don't pre-order. Nor do I buy games until they've been out for a bit, and all the user reviews are in.

I only pre-order for the sake of convinience and because since now I only buy games online from the UK or digital releases, it's a way to get the game on the release day or possibly a day or two earlier.

One thing for sure though, I'll never pre-order a PES game again without playing the demo first.

Yeah... I feel you!!
But well if theres something extra... that I think is worth the risk with the Pre-order... then I'll do it..... I'm gonna buy the game anyway so.... and Eurogames(I think that they are trustworthy) said that PES will be cheaper this year so(49.90 in Portugal)..... don't mind giving more money for some Extra... seeing that it will cost almost the same as past years.... but I'll wait till Adam confirm what will be the bonus for it!! :))

i wait a couple of months to buy pes just becouse i want to install a good mod with all updates, kits faces, etc, to start a league :)
