PES 2014 Discussion Thread

It's incredible the difference of fluidity between the Festigames footage and the Konami Tutorial videos.
It's like Festigames ones goes in 60 fps and the Tutorial in 20 fps.
 
Graphics look awesome in the day-matches, looks just ok in the nightmatch. What we have seen is human vs human-matches, so we still don't know how the CPU-AI will play like.

It seems like defensive AI is still not context-sensitive enough to better intercept balls and stop easy passes to the forwards so that the game seems too fast and counterfriendly.

But AI-level is probably set on regular, so maybe it's different on higher difficulties.

Animation look nice and varied but I'm still unsure regarding control and if the animation will allow for much more intricate control. Will have to play the full game to decide.

Goalkeepers seem pretty lame and basic in their behaviuor, letting in most if not all shots, maybe to do with the regular-AI-level... hopefully.:JAY:

Yeah, it looks like pes 2013 with better animations
 
It looks like PES 2013 in the sense that we have players chasing after a ball and the pitch is green.
 
Maybe this is old, but that extremely horrible menu was real? Maybe they put all efforts in gameplay and let an intern do the menus :SMUG:

Why would it make sense to wait for the start of the PL as Konami don't even own the right for that league :LOL: ?
 
I can not wait longer demo.
sometimes I'm bored and want to play 2013, but after 2014 see latest videos ... not to touch 2013

wow some tasty vids today looking nice except for the defensive AI especially the mix up on the Mandzukic rebound goal. Hvaning said that the guy defending panicked and Mandzukic should have higher than normal reactions.

Seriously when the fuck is the damn demo coming out

PS the IGN fellas better be PES players. The football in these vids was appalling
