Maybe the IGN video needs approval from .... :SMUG: and will actually be released sometime in August. lol...

In all seriousness though, I really like this video. THIS video shows the most organic football situations in any virtual football game to date. YouTube - PES 2014 Gameplay Festigames 2013 The freedom is immense.

That video was a bit worrying to me.. Look at 0:04. The guy made a full bar pass but the power of the pass didn't match the theorical power that the bar indicator suggests, the ball had a perfect weight and speed because of a teammate was close to it

That level of assistance corrects way too much player's erros, it is too lenient, it makes the game not require a minimum level of concentration, and that's one of the things that these football games nowadays need to do, it must require an acceptable level of concentration from us, it should make us considering the risks of making a bad pass in certain circunstances.

That's sad. Online will never be enjoyable for me.

I can see horror repeating with Goalkeepers after seeing Chile vids.

The shot going to the center will be amazingly saved, but when you aim slightly to the corners it will be certain goal.

Look how many near post goals they concede!

Also keepers still seem to parry towards opponent feet then sidelines/catching the ball.

However, gameplay wise, it should be better then ever... Still, KONAMI, please get rid of the guy responsible for videos used in marketing! Defemsive video, Heart video and Goalkeeper video are BAD. They show nothing and look like poor effort. :/.

Learn from EA. Their videos at least are polished... (even if players in them do ridiculous stuff like xavi scoring header, iniesta doing scissor kick, etc). They do catch attention a lot more than PES videos...

Now awaiting Adam video... :P

Maybe... It's a system to allow players to communicate to each other in bal online without the use of a mic, because not many people use mics. It makes sense right? Right??

Every video seems more confusing than the last one.

Edit: its probably for bal use also. Its an extension to the tap r2 button to make cpu pass the ball to me control. So i guess you can try to make the cpu do specific things now.

CALM DOWN. You are too quick to jump to conclusions. Regarding your first point : You cannot prove any of that by watching these short videos. How many goals have you seen scored? Less than 10? Regarding that second point of yours: That is your opinion. It is not everyone's. On your 3rd point: I can't even........... . . . . You'd rather see Xavi scoring headers than actual features being displayed with poor visuals/aesthetic appeal?

The heck are these vids doing to us? GC is going to be chock full of similar videos. This forum won't be bearable then, I presume?

Alot of people are complaning about the nets...Seeing that Konami introduced HAVOK PHYSICS which can simulate realistic cloth...i sure the net problem would be solved in the final build.

The physics contacts when players are jostling, or the various realistic reactions after being tackled, I would say that all this stuff look just as improved or if not even more improved than animations, probably because they were pretty much non existent in previous games this gen.

Previews have been saying that the new collision physics between players are pretty much like the Impact Engine in Fifa, but in all videos and gif i watched so far PES new physics look a LOT more convincing.

Think about what majority of people will find pleasing. Action packed FIFA trailer or boring and poor looking KONAMI failed attempt at videos?

I prefer the first one more. It's not opinion, it's a fact.

About poor quality in those videos released by KONAMI, how can you even argue? They are terrible. Half decent editor could turn those videos into diamond. And swap that God awful music too.

Gameplay videos did much more than those half assed marketing ones. That is a fact too. About showing features, well, only Combination play bit caught my attention. Keeper, Defensive one and Heart did nothing of the sort.

Like I said, demo will be a real measurement of quality.

Now just waiting for Adam video on IGN. Hoping it will be at LEAST one full length half @HD resolution.

If not, I will just jump on it at GC (yay to winning the invitation).

Yes, preferring it can be a fact. Stating that it's 'bad' is the opinion part of it. Anyway, we disagree on the other points, but that's fine.

(Add the word 'unrealistic' before 'Action Packed FIFA trailer')

In fifa be a pro, u can play as keeper. You r able to comand ur defence and order strikers to shoot from goalie's position, if they want they listen if not they do their own thing. So maybe pes is trying to alow u to do same thing? Ever thought about that?
