Why is it always the morons who get to play games early and spend the entire time sprinting, hitting long through balls and being oblivious to the obvious offside players. Terrible stuff, they should hang their heads in shame.

Game looks good though. Very fast but it always seems this way on YouTube clips like this. Not sure about the little pause just before they score the tap in after the long range shot, either my phone hates the video there or something's odd.

theyre all fifa players

Did everyone forget that the majority, who played it, think it plays like a completely different game to PES13? That's why the people look so clueless. "The learning curve is massive" seems to be the cry of many. Apparently, you need a few hours with the game to finally get to grip w/ all of the controls.

this is kind of momentum i want to see everywhere!

I love these short clips, they look so life like. Although the defender trying to block the cross is... well he's doing a very bad job. The old low difficulty story.

I'm very optimistic about this game because... Well because it's a game. Being pessimistic about a video game seems very pointless.

i hope. But this was before, at e3, when everyone say games are 0-0. now at chile score 5-3 etc.

No, they are PES online ranked match gamers.

well if the games set up with exploits, gamers will exploit them. there should be one manual setting for all, either learn how to play he game properly or buy something else. konami could have half the market share if they only catered for pes players, should have never let the casuals in

That simply could mean that defending has changed drastically and the players, in Chile, haven't adapted. Literally, there could be infinite reasons for such a scoreline (Is it CPU vs USER/USER vs User?, etc). Most of the other scorelines are minimal, which is realistic.

:CONFUSE:

Banned for life, please!

Mate some people said that the new PES is looks like FIFA on some things...I don't care if it is truth..

Because FIFA has a good animations, good ball physics and the basic things of football are good in FIFA..

My opinion is that the PES 2014 is PES 2013 with some new animations, new ball physics and better engine..

When people play this game for the first time, they will first instinct is to experiment and just play without any awareness to use R2 etc..

Most of the players there probably couldn't be arsed, they had been drinking too much soda pop, and within all the hype surrounding the day just wnet out and went BANZAI into playing it.

Others maybe just wanted to beat their mates.

Pes 2014 is Pes 2013 with much, much better animations, much, much better fluid gameplay, much much better graphics, much, much better players physics, much, much better ball physics and much, much, much... much better engine :BOP:

Agreed.

I just hope w/ the level of critique for the similarity of preceding titles, that no one on here even DARES to touch FIFA14. Be consistent, lads.

While the momentum of Mandzukic looks nice, I am a bit concerned about the defense. The defender near him doesn't seem to have any desire to close him down and the defender behind has zero anticipation and readiness to react to what happens next and obviously the two most likely scenarios are Madzukic crossing or cutting inside and the defender looks like he's playing angry birds on his phone and not watching what is happening. When the ball is crossed he should have at least been trying to intercept it, not reacting like he's lost in the forest. Let's hope it's entirely down to the difficulty.

People should be free to play FIFA if they want.

I see it as a totally different game to PES

I'm just saying that FIFA14 is not tipped to be much different from its predecessors and, if the community is to be consistent in their critique of the apparent similarity of PES titles, that they should be just as critical w/ FIFA. That's all. People need to be consistent in their judgements. Have some gaming morals, lol.

I don't agree mate... PES 2014 is PES 2013 on a better engine, with some new animations which are very good, different ball physics which are very good...

I saw many animations that are the same with PES 2013 and they are s***t (passing animations, shooting animations and gk's animations)...

YouTube - PES 2014 Italia vrs Italia Festigames 2013 CHILE

Look at 0.11...The passing animation...LOL...

You don't agree Pes 2014 has:

1) Better animations?

2) better players physics/ collisions?

3) better ball physics?

4) better graphics?

5) better engine?

6) more fluid gameplay?

Answer YES or NO

C'mon :BOP:

I hope the defensive reaction is a lower setting issue. Whether it is the cpu team players, or my own team players that are not under my control, the reaction time is just poor. I'll be watching for this when the demo arrives.

People should be fuming at EA for missing out the new engine especially PC users as the argument is not valid regarding current gen cannot cope. EA are obviously setting their stall out early on next gen with FIFA 14.

The difference with PES and FIFA is the vast majority of footballing gamers including myself enjoy FIFA 13, sales figures back my statement up.

Even with the old school ISS players the majority of PES's on current gen has been more than a let down compared to PS 1 and 2 days

My point being that FIFA doesn't really need to do much for it to be a success where has Konami are reinventing themselves and have a lot of catching up to do and for many a few more animations won't be enough, they need to look at the atmosphere , the crowds, the commentary the licences and every other little aspect that immerses the player, especially when Next Gen is only 4 months away.

Is not the first person who tell this, and i agree with him.
That why they don´t wanna to show us the BETA demo!
Konami is getting a failure each day.
Why they are wasting time posting videos?
Announce new leagues?
The demo need to be added new leagues and teams?
Just Ridiculous at this point.
They tell us Konami is not aprove the demo release, or else they had
the demo long time ago (1 month) they don´t wanna show us, because they
don´t wanna see tool makers, hacking the demo.
Last year we recieve 2 demos, and now nothing?
A simple beta demo at 1st August and 2nd Demo at 31th August, but no.
Just videos, and we need to buy a dam ticket to Chile only to play a miserable PES 2014 demo.
Please give me a break, i'm only drink water not wine.

^ over dramatic.

Having 2 demos is just asking for trouble, having one demo is much better, but yeah, they are taking way too long to release the demo.

It's been a long time since my last post and visit here but, there's one thing I really got to say: It feels depressing to see how a simple feature like changing teams in master league took until my 33rd anniversary to be implemented. I'm so OLD! hahaha

Cheers everyone!

hahah it was weird i thought the same exact words

So from one day to another, the game came from being crap to being brilliant again.

I am officially in love with this thread.:))

Normally, it is too early to release a demo when the final game is one and a half month away from release date. Other developer might not even think about it unless they're very close to the final build. But promise is still a promise.
