Does Adam controll players on the d-pad ?
:SHAKE:

He is not. There is similar tactics switching system as in FIFA in new PES. Changing tactics on the fly.

Movement should only be on left stick (of course, you can customize it so it will be on D-Pad, but changing tacs with sticks seems like BAD idea :D).

Just my thoughts though, nothing confirmed yet :).

suggested it several years ago..

change tactics on the fly with d-pad should be pretty obvious

why interupt game for changing pressure levels.. etc..

My idea was to do it XMB style..

change element with up and down, change level with left and right

coint toss should be in as well..

but I know, this year the focus was gameplay, new engine.. etc.

too bad I got to know PES at PES6, dissapointed for 6 years now, PES 2014 needs to deliver

also suggested reply editor, labeling, replay playback with own music, replays with commentary, upload to youtube etc..

none of them realised.

Ok, I posted them on WENB, where I got continuous bans..

Nothing wrong with what u asked, but I think its unnecessary. Let them get the basics right first before they can glamourise the game with these extra details.

Is everyone gonna just ignore this? Adam said ASIM'S issues have been resolved.

Adam Neaves ‏@adamneaves 16m
@Adam_Bhatti Do you feel that the main concerns that Asim and co eluded to have been sorted?

Adam Bhatti ‏@Adam_Bhatti 14m
@adamneaves 100%.

WHEN ASKED WHICH ISSUES HAVE BEEN FIXED in the build Adam is playing he said:

@broxopios mainly player inertia, but those things will come from the media once we get this in their hands.

@gab

Dude LOL FGS they said they fixed elements we don't know if they removed or tweaked we don't know what it was like in the beginning and asim mentioned lack of footplanting as a problem which according to Konamis rep has been adressed even though he is not in agreement with the severity so nobody knows nuttin till we play the damn game.

Bloody hell. Its like konami said its raining in Japan and we say OMG they having another Tsunami and everyones going to die!

Stop trolling. Or have you rad the tweet through teamveiwer? :O

Zee, Gab_ isn't to be taken seriously. He's playing most of the time.

+1

I thought it was obvious that I was joking. This delayed demo is making people tense, men.

I wished Konami would delay the demo until about a week after the release of the full game. It doesn't do any good anyway, it's only seducing the developers into making premature last-minute-changes.

If it weren't for marketing-reasons, I would say scrap the demo altogether, but a demo is necessary. So instead of scrapping it, I suggest to release it on release-day of the full game or a week later.

I´m like Vital, skeptical, cause its impossible, to have 100% fixed all the problems detected by Asim, since no one gave that type of feedback when they played windsor code or E3 code, so why would you correct something that people don´t think is wrong?? Just my 2 cents

Response by ADAM Bhatti:

As I've said there's clear consistencies in all previews. The difference being how much they impact a previewers experience. I don't believe it's right to think 'We must correct all of Asim's issues', especially when I've said I disagree with many things he said. The things I do agree with are consistent in all other previews, and that's where we must improve.
Also, it's incredibly naive to think we need to be told EXACTLY what the key issues are. We know what we need to do, and the previews are a great place to find out what we're doing right and also what we're doing wrong. It's about finding a balance with things people love, and what people dislike. Anyway, I can't say specifically what the build features are, but all previewers will be happy to know the key differences in the latest build are player responsiveness (inertia). Feels wonderful and fluid, much more responsive. Me and Asim has the same concerns when we spoke a few weeks ago once he got preview code, so I'm sure that's a big box ticked.
More refining ahead on the game in general has me very excited.

I don't get why people waste their time with getting inside this pre-release-preview-code-version-changed-this-fixed-that-concern-here-concern-there-nonesense.

The development process between pre-alpha and final version is always dynamic and full of changes, why bothering with it and getting entangled... why not just wait for the full game, play it and form an opinion after a month of playing? Only then will it be clear if the game is great or awful.

"what is feedback"

"what is feedback"

You tell me.

Do you really think these previewers tell Konami anything they don't know yet, or do you really think playing for an hour or two would be enough to form a relevant opinion about the game?

Konami like every other developer has dozens of alpha- and beta-testers, and a whole system to dissect the bugs and feedback, there is no need for people outside that testing-system to get entangled.

I've deleted posts in here.

Stick to talking PES only.

Keep it out of this forum, thanks.

Sometimes I wish the developers of PES would take all the feedback, collect it, print it out, and put it in a shredder. Then say, "Yeah thanks for the feedback but we are making the game we want to make."

I think this process would make for a nice promotional video for the next PES.

I agree.

Not fussed re demo
It comes when it comes.
I'm from a generation when there were no demos so not fussed if one ever gets released.
Glad they not doing two this year that's a recipe for disaster.
Really looking to the full game.
