do you have any idea when the info will be coming out for ML?
I think Adam said sometime next week on twitter. Not too sure.
Asim's opinion became irrilevant to me the day he said on wenb Pes 2014 was like Pes 2013 plus some new animations. He said that Fox Engine was not visible, at all.
I was already suspicious, looking at the videos it seemed to me like much more than Pes 2013 with new animations.
But the mostly positive impressions over here from people that probably played the same version as he played showed that opinions are opinions.
And Asim's opinion about Pes is extremely different from mine
Spot on.
I'd put up with it but it would annoy the crap out of me, after all it has nothing to do with engines, console limitations or anything technical. The way they schedule the fixtures in ML is just a combination of piss poor design and sheer laziness. I suspect it was added like that the first time (whichever version of PES that was) and nobody's looked at it since.
Hopefully someone, somewhere at Konami will have finaly picked up on this, but given the total lack of news it doesn't look hopeful that ML has received any TLC at all.
Don't know about anyone but I still prefer 2010's ML. Not sure it had that same internationals issue though but overall I think it was the best overall experience for me.
I think people need to accept that this year is the foundation for the new PES. This is totally apparent for those who have played the poor demo. If Konami get their heads out of their ass when it comes to licensing and being locked out, PES has a bright future. You certainly can't expect to have everything in one game, there's only so much resources and time that the team has and they have done great in re-building PES.
As far as gameplay goes and how realistic it looks, PES is leagues ahead of FIFA. FIFA is simple and fun for the majority of people who buy it, but there's certainly a crowd for sim football games and PES is headed in the right direction. If the issues from the demo are fixed (floaty shooting, players awareness in through balls, some cursor issues and no input lag), then I can say that this PES is above and beyond any PES we've ever played. Or any football game for that matter. It's up to Konami to improve the right things since the E3 build.
Agreed.
Asim? To me, he's gone. His opinion is down the ladder after all the crap on his twitter. Some was way OTT, but according to him it's all okay in the name of banter.
Also i don't like the fact he still think he represent the fans.
Same feelings.
