It certainly doesn't seem fair to tarnish Evo-Web in such a general manner. Gaming forums are notorious, and undeniably there are plenty of bad members, and good members, on this forum as there are on the WENB/FSB forums, as there are on the Official FIFA boards.

I know those involved pretty well, so I'm maybe not that impartial, but I know that Adam and Asim are both honest guys who care a hell of a lot about what they do. That Asim, as part of the media, and Adam, as part of Konami, are actively involved in the community means that sometimes they get into arguments - but that they are also far easier to get information and impressions from.

You may wish for more professional, but the tendency would be that the more 'professional' style of community management is hands off, and ends up with fans feeling ignored. I'll take what we've got, thanks.
 
So, one person calls us retards and instead of some of us showing maturity we quickly retaliate? What is this? If people want to prove the opposite then show it, not fall for such. I do not appreciate what he said, but I'm not going to make a discussion of it here. I can directly contact him on twitter and let him know my feelings.

And don't jump the gun regarding Adam. The guy is right with what he said. Some on here can't wait to get on his back at the slightest mistake or misinfo etc.

Again if you do have an issue with any of them, please take it to them. Don't bring it here. You have their accounts and they're easily accessible. Don't turn this thread into your personal drama with someone.

no big suprise Its been my opinion since day one he is the wrong guy for the job his (or the others) opinion on this site means shit to me his head went up his own arse years ago..anyway

I have read they have streamlines ML? so its going to be more basic right? plus we only have one D2 league so I bet it means you can only change clubs within the league you start in... just a thought
 
I signed up here in 2010,because graphically 2010 PES was superior to fifa. Game play wise came damn close as well to being just as good. For me some of the animations as rigid as they were. Represented foot planting, first touch,and context dribbling far better than fifa did at the time. This site quickly kicked out the infamous gcooley from the official FIFA forums and countless other TROLLS. Point being this site is far more influential than some would like to admit. For me it is where the grown and sexy come to banter, and I hope that never changes.

Bottom Line WE all the need the Demo/Full Game like a fat kid needs cake. And it is starting to show in the worst ways. LOL

My point sort of, too many people don't know how to properly use it as twitter allows too much freedom and access. He could do better with his communication but so could a lot of imbeciles who ask stupid questions after stupid questions in provocative manner at times.

Pes 2010 only looks nice, but technically was shit as well like all Pes since 2008-2013.

That's the version I'm most interested in and so far I don't think any information has been revealed.

Rocky JJP, mentioned about 100 pages back or so that games in this current age do not give you that magical feeling of wonder and excitement. I totally agree with that statement, however with the one caveat that back in the summer of 2010 on PES 2010 I was playing either a Nigeria vs. Tunisia match or some small League1 France affair I set up. And as I was desperately holding on to the lead which I was up 1-0 the cpu controlled player fell down in the box. I was being so light with my challenges and tackles there was no way the CPU was going to reward ITSELF with a penalty. I was so fugging furious that in that second instance I immediately thought about ejecting the disc and snapping it in half. Then low and behold the referee blew the whistle and carded the CPU player for diving. This rare instance of gaming genius has only happened to me twice In both PES2010 and PES2011 with over 200 hours spent on both titles. That’s what I call genius programming

I respect the shit out of your opinion Lons but I have to respectfully disagree TECHNICALLY to ME PES2010 was a far better technical game.


Hell there was a situation on the official Fifa Forum boards where a kid came on the forums and said that he had edited the entire squad to have 0% Free Kick abilty. And the “script situation” where the cpu would ALWAYS bang in a freekick from any yardage successfully would still occur. The response that came from Gary Patterson one of the Head Developers of the game, was head scratching to say the least.


As with anything in life LONS it is all down to interpretation.

PES 2014 is the topic, should somebody create a seperate thread for Community Manager news?

Please go a few pages further back if you are keen on cleaning up the Community Manager discussion, there are loads you have missed.:))

As for PES 2014, Gamescom has been a success. The game is being well received nearly every thread I frequent and people I've spoken to personally are also very positve about it.

I still see a lot of moments though where a defender will let the ball reach its target, even if they are able to cut it out. Possible a design choice, but is just looks a bit off. That is about as far as complaints go at this point without having played it.
 
Just wanted to say that, looking around the webz, this forum is one of the few (if not the only one) sane PES sites still out there. There's a few creepers but at least there's no ass-kissing going on.
 
I really hope they sort out how transfer logic works this year, as it's really immersion breaking when a Division 2 player has a 0% chance of signing for my team that just won the treble.

MLO wil give you 3 league options to start from: standard player league, technical player league and a defensive league. All of these leagues will have some sort of a budget cap in order to avoid players to get All-Star teams. One you've beaten these starting leagues you will gain admission into the Galactico League, where there won't be any caps.

LOL... now that they finally got a hold on the Argentinian League, they lose the National Team license. Oh the irony...
