Well according to their facebook page it's confirmed ...no second demo for PC.

really upset...really....if it's true by now i will cancel my preorder and, after tons of year spent on pes, i will stick with FIFA for the first time in my life and never go back and buy a konami product anymore.

The consoles is where they make the most money so I understand if they feel the need to cater that audience first. Heck, our 360 brethren missed out on the first demo, so they probably deserve it anyway. :p

The full version isn't far off anyways, the PC Demo is still being modded frequently by the community, I don't think the situation is that grim for us.

We'll be missing out on what they fixed etc in the 2nd demo of course, but I don't see the reason to go all out and cancel pre-orders, move straight to FIFA etc. Unless the dude above me was being sarcastic of course. :p

I'm still having a blast with the first demo, and we'll most probably be more delightedly surprised with changes come full version, as we won't be experiencing it on the 2nd demo, which is closer to the final build. :)

you get my point of view..obviously...:BOP:

haha, I thought so mate. :)

It's probably been mentioned around here, but the first demo being leaked too early probably made KONAMI decide not to release the 2nd demo on the PC.

guys this is from pesfan an a konami offical site

It has just been announced that the next demo installment for PES 2012 will be available on the 14th September for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

In the second demo you will be able to play as the following teams:

Tottenham Hotspurs
Bayern Munich
Inter Milan
Club America
Internacional

Konami have been taking note of your feedback from the first demo and have made improvements to the goal keepers, defensive AI to work more efficiently on the field and the difficulty to score - you will now have to build up, plan and organise your attack in order to score.

In the meantime, if you haven't already, you can download the first demo for PSN or PC here.

Well said Zakov. I agree whole heartedly, except Konami being unhappy about the early leak of the PC build.

so what you say is that konami made the demo for the pc but the lake demo made konami decide not to release it?no way,and from what i hear right now the demo coming to pc to

Someone (I forget who and where) said that the initial press release did say that the second demo was coming to the PC, but it was soon amended to remove the PC. This might explain why some places (such as PESFan) are quoting that the PC is getting the demo, as they saw the press release before it was changed.

I think the reason why Konami is not releasing a PC demo is because: review-code gameplay + community mods and content = a potential reason for some people to not bother buying the full game (at least not straight away) if they are happy with only exhibition matches.

On balance I think that it is the community's fault, but the community can only mod what Konami gives them. By releasing a demo with the full player database they should have expected that the community would do something with it. Perhaps Konami were caught out by how quickly all the mods appeared; indeed many of the PES2011 tools work for 2012.

Judging from the message mentioned in the link from facebook:
http://www.konami-pes2012.com/2011/09/pes-2012-all-details-on-the-2nd-demo/
It's pretty obvious it is'nt coming out for PC. I can't blame them since the first demo got LEAKED. Modding the game isn't the issue here but leaking a Demo game that was ahead of the release date is a serious crime. For all we know, what if the "leaked" 1st demo is different from the demo released by Konami.

Seriously, the first Demo has not been "leaked".
Konami had it on their own ftp early tuesday.
Somebody found the right url and spread it, it got uploaded to numerous
hosters... the only one to blame here IS Konami.

Yes, the 2nd demo was planned for the PC.

But as mentioned before, the early leak probably made them change their decision and not release it, which is justifiable if you for once look at it impartially.

Yes, KONAMI was a bit stupid from a security standpoint, but a leak is a leak.
To a smaller extent, that's like saying it's justifiable for someone to get robbed since they forgot to lock their house's door.
Two wrongs don't make a right.

Eh, it's annoying, but thankfully I have an X360 and a PS3 as well, and even though I'm buying it on the PC, I'm able to try out the second demo, compare it to the first and then make a decision (there's about 1% chance that I will not buy the game though, like every year since ISS Pro Evolution 2 on the PS1).

This year though, I might buy FIFA as well, if the PC version is more or less the same as the console versions. Depends on how good PES is.

I think the second demo will be released for PC.
They say the demo will be released on Xbox and PS3, but this doesn't exclude
the fact that it will be released for PC, too. It's basic logic.
The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.

PES's official Facebook page replied to the main wall post of theirs and said that there would be no 2nd demo for PC, a decision made by the team in Japan apparently.

We'll all find out sooner or later but nothings been officially announced by konami so i'm staying hopeful. A reply an a face book pages is not conclusive enough for me i'm afraid.

for me:
no demo = not buying PES

:(
I dont understand why they had to cancel demo for PC. If leaking is the problem, then just make sure its not leaked again (eg. dont put it on your server before right time).

You do know there is a first demo for the PC, right? :P

Of course. And its unfinished code. Shooting feels "meeh", goalkeepers are rubbish, and judging on this (first) demo, I would not buy this game. I was hoping second demo would change my decision, as Konami said they'll improve gks and shooting.

i think the idea of not releasing a 2nd "definite" demo on pc serves more piracy than countering it "
i those who have per-ordered the game or those who are planning to buy it on release have the right to test the game in its finished state
and as konami itself said that the 1st demo is more like a beta as it is taken while the game is in development and as it's NOT representative of the final product
then we "who have per-ordered- the game have the right to test or per-ordered game
but now are are punished by konami for no reason
i saw many mates on twitter cancelling their pro-order not for the above reason bit just show konami so anger and to force them to show some respect for the dedicated pc gamers
i'm even thinking doing the same thing if it turned out to be "cancel my per-order campaign" lol

Is the second demo the final demo? If so, surely it will come to PC eventually, but maybe for some reason not before the game is released. Bit stupid otherwise, to only have a demo with really old code that might not give as good impression that the later code would do.
