PC PES 2011 slow response issue solution

Thanks for the help guys. I have an ATI Radeon 4870 and setting Triple Buffering and V-Sync ON in Direct3D Overrider, while having them off in PES Settings, improved my response time. Maybe it's just a placebo effect, but I swear it's improved. LOL.

It's not just you. It seems like on Vista and Windows 7 PES's vsync and triple buffering aren't forced on ATI cards. The game should run like butter for anyone with a decent system.

Hi i followed the instructions and installed riva tuner 2.24c then downloaded 3doverider but when i start the D3DOverrider.exe nothing happening i can se that the process is in running but no windows with all the settings appear.
I am running Windows7 64 and have the latest ati catalyst drivers. Is 3doverider have some service dependency cause i did stop some of them to gain performance a while ago. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When you start d3doverrider it automatically minimizes to task bar notification area .BTW you don't need to install rivatuner m8 just download d3doverrider that i posted a few posts back post #23, it may be rivatuner thats causing you probs.

------------------------------------------------------------------

i have to point out that the d3doverrider does not support 64 bit windows im not sure but i think so

Sorry m8, that's not correct , d3doverrider is officially part of rivatuner & does support x 64 OS.I've always used it on x64 since pes2009.

------------------------------------------------------------------

New problem arises though, I can't activate the pes2011 exe! How do you do it? It wont reach the server or maybe wont accept my serial!? When trying the no-cd exe the game crashes when attempting to launch an online game, this sucks :(

Sorry to hear that m8, but i don't have any problems, i just add pes2011.exe to d3doverrider as explained earlier & run pes as normal (desktop shortcut),Your not using Xfire are you ? as triplebuffer won't work well on Xfire/SLI on another note , please don't mention no/dvd cracks m8, it's not allowed to be linked/discussed here due to warez policy.

hawke have you got dual core or a quad? i have a dual core and i actually have noticed fantastic results on maximum pre rendering at 2, can you shed light on the matter

ADM phenom II x2 BE overclocked @ 3.8 GHz, I don't really know a lot about pre rendered frames ( Flip Queue for ATI users ) just that lowering it can help with response rates , but at the same time many people say that taking it higher can also help but may cause mouse/keyboard lag.I have tried 1,2,3,4 & 5 for pes2011 using radeon pro & i feel no difference at all so i leave it set to the standard 3.Like i say,.. i don't have any issues with response rate of 2011 so i have not looked into it.

Strangely, I get worse performance and response using this method. With d3doverrider enforced vsync and buffering, gameplay seems sluggish and I drop to 30fps in replays/cutscenes. With only vsync in the settings.exe, no problems at all.

HD4870 512mb
Phenom II X4 955 (stock 3.2ghz)
2gig DDR3

It was exactly the same in PES2010. If I forced vsync by any means besides the settings.exe, it seems like tripple buffering was gone and always drops to 30fps in replays etc. But like I said, vsync through the games settings.exe runs perfectly 60 fps on high settings at 1920x1080

no problem and i thought you had a nvidia card that's fine thanks i guess on the gpu aspect it differs thanks. nice cpu ehu im getting jeolous now

A little OT but what mobo are you using Hawkes? Cuz i'm looking to at the CPU ATM for future buying, maybe next month, still looking at a cheap+decent quality mobo.

Foxconn A7VMX-K very cheap m8,i think i paid about £50 for it from amazon... but works very well, only downside is you can only have 4gig of ram , but i'll never need more than that.I should mention that i have a water cooler on the CPU, but they are cheap as well,i paid about £70 for a Coolit one.

im usin pre render frames 1 via ATT
worked best in 010 so i think its still the same for 011

2 shud be ok aswell but 3 can be too much (worse respone than 1 wich is better than 0 for me)

I've use Powerstrip with PEs2010 before but recently I've swapped to Asus 450 GTS and in the powerstrip display menu I couldn't change the refresh rate anymore. It's greyed out. anyone know why?

The game runs perfectly on my laptop (1.6ghz quad-core, Radeon 5700, 4GB RAM) but is very jerky on my desktop (2.6ghz dual-core, Radeon 4850, 4GB RAM). Does anyone know why this is? It's not the quad-core being better than the dual core because the game only uses 4 of the 8 threads, so my desktop is actually better for PES. I think it's the monitor that is the problem, I have a Samsung Syncmaster 2494 (24 inch, 1920x1080), whereas my laptop is a 15.6 inch, 1366x768. I don't think the problem is that my desktop can't handle such a high resolution because it stutters when I knock it down to a lower resolution. It also stutters on low or high graphics so the problem isn't my graphics card.

mate i know this might sound harsh but i would not even bother to play games on laptop even if i had one, so i really urge you to play on the desktop if you have one, othe rthan that grab yourself maybe second hand ps3 and get th egame

Well the thing is it runs perfectly on the laptop, not a problem. Obviously I'd rather play on my desktop (better monitor) but it runs so poorly it's unenjoyable.

Why's that? My laptop can also handle the game so well, the monitor is enough.

This tool makes the game so smooth indeed, fantastic stuff.

I've tried using the d3doverrider but the result is pretty much the same. I do have very little lag using the regular settings.exe vsync. With d3doverrider the lag is still there but the replays are at 30fps. So I'm back to just using the regular settings, since d3doverrider doesnt really solve the (minimal) lag I've got.

Sorry to bring this up, but if I use the program d3doverrider the PesEdit patch will not be loaded.
I ve tried anything I know, but cant find a solution.
So I need help from you guys, thanks in advance.

Kije , d3doverrider is conflicting with kitserver , we just found out, Juce is going to look into it when he gets a chance, so for now don't use d3doverrider with kitserver.

tested around with vsync n found out that vsync enabled via pes is steady 60-61 fps even in replays/ingame sequences

via d3d tool its 32 fps in replays and it then goes up to 61, but not instantly it goes step by step
i always see 42 fps right before 62
and triple buffering via d3d tool isnt showing any effect here

so for me just checking vsync via settings.exe is the smoothest way

and btw no diffrence to vsync off in response behaviour, very nice
unlike pes 010

yes iv actually found out that it's the best to use the default settings in the nvidia and since the drivers are constantly being updated, game is running fine, though some ingame bugs with gameplay, and also make sure those who have nvidia cards to download the latest drivers because pes 2011 is or will benewly supported by the drivers
