PES 2011 Discussion thread

just noticed an odd thing in pes 2011
while defending , if u intermittently press the x button, u will see ur defender showing some very odd jerky animations
 
Ye i find these reviews stupid. Reminds of of the great review pes 08 got which was biased. Its all biased crap. Football game reviews i dont even bother with anymore.

Goalgerd, how do you know that the transfers patch will be released in day 1? I remember discussiing here about it and Jon Murphy allegedly said that the transfer patch will take around 1 monts.... can you confirm or let me know which source you have to know about this?
 
I think I'm ready to let go of PES5 now.

Just played it on my PC for the first time since the PES 2011 demo - It still does certain things better (imo) than PES 2011, like the dipping shots, crossing and set pieces, and it was still a lot of fun, but PES 2011 does pretty much everything else so much better.

The dribbling, first touch, ball physics, 360 degree movement and manual passing especially stand out on 2011 after playing 5.

I just hope it's as good as 5 was online, and lasts me the whole year :).

The more i play this game the more i feel as if it's a brilliant game hiding behind awful and clumsy AI

I hope that is at least half sorted in the release build

They all have the preview code version for testing websites -.-

This isn't the full retail version and the same you can dl everywhere.

Hey buzzyhead, some amazing videos there, haha! The worst PES tune of all time for me is surely the one with the male singer going "I wanna play football SOCCER, football SOCCER, football SOCCER, all around the world". I left it on for comedy value, the wife couldn't see the novelty herself.

That was PES6, and it was awesome as a couple of my mates played on PS2 so we could play each other online :).

Probably won't happen again though... Wasn't PES6 the only game to allow cross-platform online?
