PES 2011 Discussion thread

Does the WE demo have the annoying trailer at the end?

I first thought it were maybe bound to the profile I used on the other xbox360, I went over again, took my gold-account from there and loaded it on the xbox360 in my home... but it didn't want to play either...

Only when I'm online with that profile the game starts, when I'm offline it doesn't. So it's profilebound and consolebound, but when being with the right profile online the console gets ignored.

I wasnt going to respond to you,because you need to learn some manners and how to speak to people on forums not just place a reactionary comment.

Believe what you want,theres always going people like yourself that lack a open minded approach and live in the darkest negative places and are to quick to judge.

I was one of pes2010s biggest critics even though i still squeezed some enjoyment from that game and blue samuri because i saw the potential with a different control interface better ai and physics.Pes2011 is way beyond anything ive ever played and well beyond anything konami and ea have ever produced.The truth will bobble to the service in the next few months when people start to discover the delights of this game,although many already are and there old school players and some new that just want something fresh,different and moves what was becoming a stale genre on.

Fifa just does the old better,pes2011 takes the concepts of the ninties,re-engineers them,throws in all the best elements of pes and takes this genre to a completely different plain,football games have never been this free nor have they ever had ai like pes2011 does..

i have another question, can i get a gaming laptop which will support pes 11 comfortably/run smoothly and have fair bit of memory for like £500?
 
Been playing Winning Eleven and well, it's the same as PES. Passing momentum, power up bar, shots etc. You must be playing a different game to me, Expander.

I'll still be buying PES (the first time in 2 years) but the lack of Fully Manual passing is a real killer. Total lack of freedom and control at present. Rocket propelled laser guided passing has no place on "NG"

Lets keep this thread civilized please and don't start that stupid argument again. It adds nothing fgs. If you don't think its perfect to you and can't cope then don't play it, simple. If you like it but find bugs then list them and send them to Murpheus.

Dude your obviously not clicking but there two different demos.Im not going to go to the trouble of showing the differences if there arent any or am i going to BS.Give the game a chance for ffs.It takes weeks to really gel with this game.

As for manual passing,the passing system in pes2011 is more free then even fifa,you might have full manual control in fifa without having to use the modifier but it still goes rougly in the same standard fixed direction,you cant place it left or right or put back,side and top on it.

Im hot on fifa to in the manual setting but pes2011 is a different world.

Go back through this thread and your see so many people hating and then clicking with the game,and that includes me with the same knee jerk early reaction.For the first few days its like you cant play football anymore.If your not controlling your passes,how can you expect the game to have cohesion or the ai.

Its like that country nut bar advert,when you see all the confused townies falling from the trees.Like ive said previously over the days this game takes you well out of your comfort zone and doesnt hold your hand like pes before or fifa.

Theres nothing worse then someone downloading something and claiming its the same in less then a day...........you sound like a top bloke but dont make me out to be a idiot or a BS...i take real offence at that,even though i know your not directly implying that.

I know when the tied has turned and when a site isnt truly pro anymore,its bye bye from me to.What a real shame people cant see the wood through the trees and think fifa is representitive of this sport.

Shit,talk about corporate colonisation of the unconcious,i knew the ea magic pixy dust would get to you all in the end....well not all,and thanks lami your one of the best mods of experienced on any site and a top bloke.

Rom,i know weve had are differences but your a real diamond as is jamenzino and co.

i would be interested to know this as well, thinking about getting a new pc, and im liking the patches that happen for pes. i dont mind getting a desktop either.

It is the forum's loss as well as his. Demonstrably so. I agree that the farewell was a bit dramatic, but I don't disbelieve that he had his reasons, whatever they were. He certainly loved PES and thought a lot less of FIFA but at least he enjoyed a good discussion.

I merely stated the truth, last year a guy named something (don't remember, but IIRC originated from PESFan forum) wreak havoc in the PES community due to his claim that PES10 was miles ahead of the demo and beating FIFA10

So it's confirmed the demo isn't final code. Great news! Jeezus, I wonder why in the world they told us demo was final... could've avoided quite a bit of angst.

It'd be nice if there was a little more outreach - for both FIFA and PES - to keep the community up to date. A simple "this is fixed" or "this isn't fixed" would eliminate the need for pages and pages of debate!

Ok, so how does relate to you though? Do you buy games based on someone saying "omgz itz teh bestz evarzz11!11!"? Or do you try demos and make up your own mind? A game might be the shiznit to that someone but horrible for someone else. It's different tastes.
 
Sorry to go OT but on 2010 how do you import emblems and things in the PS3 version? Set up my usb stick with the file structure PS3/MUSIC+GAME+PHOTO+VIDEO and dropped an emblem in my PHOTO folder and while it detects the USB it doesn't find the Everton badge which is a PNG file, tried googling and youtube but its bringing up everything but what I need.

I think you have to highlight the USB and press triangle which brings up another menu.
 
I didn't know Jimmy left. I just read his last post and I find it a real loss :(

Agree, I think he was a bit over the top sometimes with PES, but in the latest times his posts were pretty balanced and with respect for others. What a shame really...
I personally hate PESFAN, I feel at home here...
