PES 2011 Discussion thread

From my experience the ball does bobble, in fact I'd say the biggest pluses for me so far are the smoother animations and the ball physics. Feels more natural than FIFA 10 if you ask me. The pace of the game feels just about right, and the animations seem much more fluent this time round.

That said, so far I've only used the Copa teams and their stats obviously are worse than Barça's. Will give Barça and Bayern a good go to judge properly.
 
So what is the 6th difficulty level and is there noticeable difference when playing at -2 speed than normal speed ?

How is the AI attacking? Only from the wings? If so then PES 2011 = FAIL

Conceded one goal in my first game and it came from the striker latching onto a through ball between my centreback and fullback.
 
I can't figure out how to download this thing. I've gone through all the steps, it says that I have an automatic download but where is it? I can't see anything downloading under Network.

I hope my German players will be strong enough against big teams...lol...
 
PES fans, this is incredible, that graphics and and animations. 8 way my arse. The camera view is completely free in the replays, close up they look stunning.

1) Set the Automatic Download to On and pick the time period.
2) Shut down the PS3 THROUGH the menu, it will then come up with an automatic download display, wait 30 seconds-1 minute, so the download begins.
3) Press the PS button, press the O button, go to the Network menu and click Download Management, and if you did the Automatic Download time period correctly it should be downloading the PES2011 Demo.

I just played my first game, Barcelona 1 - 1 Bayern Munich :)

it's really different and so SMOOTh.

I keep getting slowdowns though in replays :( does it seem to slow down and speed up when showing replays of things?

I'll make some vids ;)

LOL @ the muppets judging the game from a ~15 second video on youtube, wtf guys, seriously.

Not in the demo, if I'm not mistaken Top Player is still the highest difficulty setting. But I was playing on Professional and conceded a goal through the centre, so the AI does not attack exclusively from the wing. Don't really know if that was the case before as I haven't touched PES since 2007.

I'm experiencing the same thing, I really enjoy playing this but the slowdown on replays (especially close-ups) is terrible. Could be a demo issue though, not sure.
