Pes 2010 - Full Game - Not Smooth

10 July 2006

I know there is probably some page somewhere that discusses this but sadly dont have the time (due to work) to find it.

To help explain my pc system is:

Amd Athlon 5600x2 clocked to 3.1ghz
2gb 800mhz ram
Geforce 8800 512mb GTS graphics card

What I dont understand is that it seems to gitter a bit, more so when the ball is in the midfield area. It slows down and its very noticeable and annoying.

When I check pes 2010 settings it says CPU,GPU and VRAM all good
but RAM is only ok.

The only thing I could think of is that it needs more than 2gb of ram but I cant imagine why.

I apologize in advance if this issue has already been raised but please help me out with any advice you can guys. We all want pes running as smooth and looking as good as possible :)

Same thing here my pc overpass the recommended system requirements, but after a shot in the area, sometimes there is a little slowdown...

Same thing here. Im on 8800GTX and 3 gig ram. Feels like i tried all the setting there is. Followed the advices in http://forums.evo-web.co.uk/showthread.php?t=54709 , but no succes.

I tried with vsync on, vsync off, 60 hz, 70 hz, 72 hz, frame skipping, no frame skipping, changed settings in advanced for the graphic card lite 100 times. The changes takes effect but not to my satisfaction. Some times the game will be to slow, sometimes good speed but delay on the buttons, sometimes flickering...

What ever happened to just buy a game, install it, and play it?!?!

Same Here

Im running AMD Athlon X2 5000 2.86GHz
2GB DDR2 Corsair XMS2
256MB 7950GT
Windows 7 Hoem Premium

I am also getting slow downs within the game frame skipping not making difference

Specs should be fine for the game really

Are you running it on Windows 7

Sometimes the game is fine decent, but on other occassions when I play its slow!

Ok my settings

v sync ON (screen tears without it)
Frame Skipping OFF (No difference ON or OFF same prob)

1024 x 768 on HIGH

Even If I switch to MEDIUM still slows down sometimes

same here, windows 7 .. i you can try the nvidia beta drivers, but unfortunately for me... there are no beta drivers for my laptop

gameplay feels extremely very very strange players are like intac glue it feels strange players arent like they should be walking running passing what the f....? going on

Only time I have ever had slowdown is in PES6.
I discovered that my Firewall was causing this.

( when I tried to block the PES.EXE so that I could use custom adboards.)

I changed my firewall to Outpost and was amazed how the game ran.

Try ensuring the game is installed with all necessary firewall permissions.

i have the problem too. it seems to be a windows 7/nvidia driver for windows7 problem.
my setup:
AMD 4200 dual core
4 Gigs DDR2@800Mhz
GeForce 8800 GTS 640Mb
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
I tried the D3D Overider and it fixes things a little bit, but only if i close all other apps as: utorrent, opera or anything running in the background. but still get some hops sometimes. it almost looks like it skips some frames even if it doesn't need to as the framerate stated by rivatunner is a constant 59-60 fps .

I HAD MINE SET AT 1024 x 768 on HIGH AND IT WOULD STUTTER AN AWFUL LOT. BUT WHEN I SWITCHED IT TO WIDESCREEN 1650 X 1050 8:5 FULL SCREEN IT RAN LIKE A DREAM. THINK IT MAY BE RESOLUTION ISSUES, JUST PLAY AROUND WITH THEM TIL YOU GET THE ONE THAT SUITS YOUR MONITOR.

Cant help anyone here, my game runs perfect on windows 7 4gb ram radeon 4870

edit, close control in the game is awful...the ball runs about 5 foot in front of you when you run

no problem wity me to with dial core 64 overclocked to 3.2ghz 2 gigram overcloked 9800gt thats not the issue !!!!

the issue is the response times and ball control dribbling just your normal game is not as smooth as pes 2009!!

what kind of sh** do you have in your signature man?! maybe the "antichrist" slows your pc... :WORSHIP:

i think the games feels really smooth, when i play on winxp with aspect-ratio-correction (kitserver) and vsync on, frame skipping off. i had other experience on win7, which had to do with win7 not supporting 60hz on higher resolution and also had to do with patch 1.01 not being supported by kitserver...

i hate widescreen man iv got an lcd square shaped monitor 19 inch, are you able to dribble and pass with ease or robotics are taking over with players?

Hi everyone

Same problem here. Constant 60 fps but still the image judders, especially when the ball is pinging about.

Specs are Win 7, Q6600 @ 3Ghz, 3.5 GB RAM, 880 GTS 512, 80GB Intel M25 G2 SSD

I've tried all manner of settings at all resolutions e.g. vsync, tripple buffering, with kitserver without etc. but still no luck.

I could play PES 2009 on Vista with ridiculous quality settings @ 2560x1600 60fps so I don't think my machine is under powered for the game.

I should have a Radeon 5870 arriving in the next few days and wonder if that will make a difference.

Is Windows 7 the common factor?

no your machine is fine you can run pes 2009 and pes 2010 at the same time eith ease and still go on the net, i think konami is missing the point with response time and game smoothhness

Hi all!
I've got the same problem.

Pentium 4 2.5GHz, 1Gb RAM, Nvidia 7600GS AGP 8x, Win XP SP3. Yes, quite an old computer but still I could play PES 2009 flawlessly at 1280*1024, High quality, stable 30 FPS without any lag or whatsoever, except near the goal and with big player amount where I suffered a little FPS drop.
In this version, I had to turn both AA and AF off in Nvidia control panel to run at 1024*768 or 1280*1024 Low quality with frames bouncing between 30 and sometimes up to 60, or even at 1024*768 High quality with 30-40 FPS, stuttering and from times to times with huge slowdowns (forgot to say, "frame skipping" turned on). It even looks smoother at 1024*768 High than at 1024*768 Low (LOOL)!
It's not quite the unstable framerate or even lower frames that bothers, coz 30 FPS proved to be quite smooth for me, thus, when the game stabilizes at 30 FPS it still stutters, which in PES 2009 didn't.
When at 1024*768 High, sometimes the game gets really accelerated for a few seconds, making it uncontrollable.
I assume it's nothing more than a game code issue. Hope Konami solve it in a future patch, coz the gameplay is just amazing, almost perfect IMO!:WORSHIP:
