Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

I've seen:

- Licensed teams:
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Deportivo
Athletic Bilbao
Espanyol
Mallorca

- Unlicensed teams:
Sporting Gijon
Atletico Madrid
Recreativo Huelva
Getafe
Almeria
Racing Santander

Must have seen it wrong then... Srry

National Teams: 60 (20) licensed teams

It means that N. Ireland is the only new licensed national team. If I am not mistaken we had 19 licenced NT teams in PES 2008. Where is the progress ? :((

I am glad with the few national teams added (China, Egypt...etc ) but it's not enough. We really need teams like Lithuania, Bosnia, Cyprus, Iceland...

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

If Atletico Madrid is not licensed, how about the other CL Teams ? CL License with unlicensed Teams and no CL in Master League would´nt make sense to me. Whats the CL License good for, then ?

Can it be that Teams will be added later on as part of a possible Konami patch upgrade ?

Really hope the squads we've seen so far aren't final. Or hopefully they'll be updated via DLC.

  • Cissé still at Marseille.
  • Baroš still at Lyon
Plus loads more.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Hi everyone, I'm new here but have been watching this forum since a couple of weeks, so I now what it's like here.

Little intro: Have been playing pro evo since the first version on Ps1 and disliked the other game since cuzz it was total shit back then (it's very much improved now but still not there (luckely)). Didn't buy every version cuzz i didn't have a xbox 360 since the last version. (I played PES 1,2,4,5,08). 2008 wasn't that good as we all now but i still play it like every week a couple of times, most of time with mates and still like it even if it's not what we all hoped for. But still a good game made with a smaller budget than the other game...

Can't wait for the demo to come out. If 2009 is 2008 without the most "errors" and the little extra's it will be fine to me, cuzz it's still the best game/mostfun footie in my humble opinion.

What I don't get I how much some(!!) peopz here wine about certain details like untucked shirt, or hair styles that are not completely update, and other minor details, i like it too when that's all done right but it doesn't add something to the game when your kicking about!!!!
Gameplay is every reason why I started to play this serie and as long as the serie has the best gameplay I'll be playing it. Al the rest are extra's.

And the others that think FIFA is better these days: stop wining, order it and play it.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

I like the faces posted by TG earlier. I think they are very life like and are an improvemnt on previous Pes's. Probably a tad more natural than the (very good) fifa faces and will look good on replays etc.

Lack of licences is a worry for the future, personally i can see it getting worse as FIFA's machine marches on. looking forward to spnding time messing with the editing feature, I just hope its still not a half baked next gen effort like the previous three titles.

Now where is this demo, i could do with having a go at this before FIFA arrives. If Pes is not what I expect then I'm either footyless or I'll have to bite the bullet with FIFA.
