PES 2009: Free January Transfer Window

Extract the archive and copy the cv0f.img file into
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\download" folder in Windows XP or;
"C:\ProgramData\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\download" folder in Vista.
You can now play the most updated version of PES 2009.

It doesn't work to me. I tried it some time ago, and this way isn't sucessfull.

I'm not sure what your problem is about, but I can easily say this way worked both in XP and Vista to me. In fact, if you try to apply this update via System Settings -> Download option, cv0f.img file is located as I specified.
