PES 2008 loading slowly HELP

PES working fine until this morning. Now takes forever during loading times. Think it is problem with kit server as doesn't happen when I turn kitserver off.

I reinstalled kit server and pes 2008 again but made no difference.

The only thing ive done today is install the new version of AVG Antivirus. Could it be this?

Please can somebody help me?!

Maybe it's the AVG Anti-virus, like you said. I, too, upgraded my AVG, but my computer started to load things slower. I went back to the older version and the speed is back to normal.

You could try this: http://free.grisoft.com/ww.faq.num-1238#faq_1238 (look for "How to install AVG without LinkScanner"). I read somewhere that is causing the slowdown. I haven't tried it myself, so I can't tell...

Thanks, I did that and it was AVG causing the problem. Ive gone back to old version but might try again later and do what you said
