PES 2008 Goalkeeper on free kick

Hello,
i hate taking goals on free kick, especially when goal is near a post.
In the official guide and game manual they say it's possible to move the goal along the line with the Y button but for me it does'nt work (just L1+Y but only after the cpu strike the ball)

anybody?
