Here is the review from PC Gamer. Despite the title of the article being for PES2010, it is in fact for the new game.

They gave it a 74%, which in my opinion is too low. I would give it an 80% so far. If you're interested, they gave the PC version of FIFA11 a whopping 86%. Utter madness.

I had problem also with this. But not now, i look at PES thread. Take peoples suggestion to have a look at strategy/tactics + pick the right player. They are right, then voila.. My teams (Arsenal) now getting better in ML after being second from bottom and loosing FA cup + bottom at CL (still early season though)..

About FIFA "initiate run", a big NO from me.. i am more interested about seabass Q&A i read in PESfan that. He want the AI to do this based on his stat and so on. and still looking to improve this. IMO, This is more brilliant over L1 tap

If it was me.. PES 2011 = FIFA 2011 = 8-8.5 (outta 10) coz both has stronger aspect on their own and niggles too..

If I read one more article slagging off PES2010...

It seems as soon as the new games out every magazine is falling over itself to point out how crap the game was in every way, but I'm still enjoying it as much as I was in the first place.

EDIT: Having read the whole thing I disagree with just about every sentance of the review.

- I never found defenders 'running at me', if anything they used to stand off too much.

- Keepers were a bit irritating, yes, but not insane, that's a bit harsh.

- Could do without stadium editor to increase atmosphere? I'm thinking one of the best additions of the new game will be the fact I can make a small sized ground for games with smaller teams.

I could never trust PC Gamer as far as I could throw them (much preferred PC Zone, RIP) and I don't think that's going to change soon.

fair score... PES 11 has HORRIBLE atmosphere, commentary and non licensed teams. Yeah, you can mod those things but were talking about an out-of-the box package. Gameplay is alright.. keepers still make crappy blunders that never ever happen in real life. You also can't score on keepers through the legs while in FIFA you can.

FIFA PC is the better game this year.

Are you sure? I already got a few goals between the legs of the keeper. I even got one replay saved....

At least have the decency of stating Fifa 11 is the "better game", not the recycled crap that Fifa 11 for PC is, bug filled and surprisingly empty on football.

I don't think we need a new thread for every review that's out there. I also don't like how this turned out to be another PES vs. FIFA thread right from the get-go.
