Creation Master. Its a separate program. I think they have the download link in the FIP website. Install it, load the .exe and regenerate bh (its an option from the menu)

I think I even used Creation Master 16 (the one I used with FIFA 16) on Fifa 14 without problem.

don't download or install new update yet. there was some error with mediafire. a message from giggiriva on soccergaming.com:

As advised. Winrar played the trick, omitting files. Reupped part of the UI folder and language files. This files will be operational until December 31st for those who have already downloaded the patch. Others will be able to download the main file regularly. I'm in the process of uploading an updated bug-free version of 4.0

i prefer every other than fifa 14... but this one has classic patch, so i have to endure (i plan of purchasning fifa 16 when price goes down a bit).
 
Has anyone else had an issue getting 14 to work with the new EA Desktop app (with Origin being discontinued) - and if so, have you managed to find a way around it? :(

I had to re-download it through the new EA App, but I just named my folder something else and then switched it over after, and it worked like a charm. In the end, I just deleted the new version I downloaded

Actually, I don't have any sliders at all! But now that you mention it, I will set them up soon enough, but not drastically. If it helps I always play with Game Speed on Slow and with some Pitch Wear either Heavy or Light

Well I did set up my sliders, but they're not those big changes to every slider, just some, with my gameplay speed of course set to slow and pitch wear on Heavy, I think it's the most realistic game pace and best ball movement too.

I've set the sliders on the same value for both User and AI

Speed - 40
Acceleration - 50
Shooting Speed - 38
Pass Speed - 40
Shot Error - 55
Pass Error - 55

Teammate Runs - 30
Marking - 45 (its a classic patch, and I thought that in the past there was not as much tight defenses as you see today, or so.. so I reduced it a bit but doesn't really make a huge difference, only sometimes)

Goalkeeper Ability - 48
 
Is there a specific FIFA 16 thread for classic patch?

I haven't installed this yet.

Very interested in the 1990 World Cup mod as it was the first WC I watched as a kid.

I saw some previews with Maradona and he had long hair. He had short hair in that World Cup. Claudio Caniggia's face wasn't looking genuine, either.

Key players 1990: Matthaus, Caniggia, Maradona, Goycochea, Ruggeri, Brehme, Schillachi, Baggio, Higuita, Valderrama, Milla, N'Kono, Lineker, Gazza, etc.

Would love to see proper faces for the finalist teams at least (Germany and Argentina).

I can help finding the source images.
 
@El Pajaro I actually took some screenshots for you on this topic a while back for the 16 version. The faces aren't great, but I can get over that because I don't care too much about it because, in game, zoomed out, it looks like Maradona, etc. An issue with the Classic Patch is that they duplicate players if they are on more than 1 team (often in this, there are club teams that appear in the European Cup every year, so they don't make different versions of the same player). Each player is pretty much the best version of themselves, so the teams are a little overpowered; for example, you will have prime Thierry Henry in the 1998 France squad, well before he was at the peak of his powers.

The 14 version is much deeper than 16. 14 has pretty much every European Champions Cup team since the 70s and then some, whereas 16's only has two seasons in the early 90s and focuses mostly on international teams. It's a blast to play though.

I'm using the Matt10 sliders:

Sprint Speed: 48/48 (I'll probably lower these to 40)
Acceleration: 48/48
Shot Error: 50/50
Pass Error: 50/70
Shot Speed: 51/51
Pass Speed: 45/45
Injury Freq: 70/70 (normally 50, I play 70)
Injury Severity: 20/20 (normally 50, I tone it down due to frequency)
Goalkeeper Ability: 48/50
Marking: 55/55
Run Freq: 25/25
Height: 50/50
Length: 45/45
Width: 20/20
FB Positioning: 60/60
First Touch: 55/55

I didn't think the Heavy pitch wear would make a difference, but it does seem to make it go slower.

no, I'm pretty sure they create the faces individually outside of the edit mode. (for FIFA 14)
Might be different for fifa 16 patch
