pausing at corners

why do people do this ? is it some sort of cheat ? maybe a daft question but i would like to know why so many players do this ...

To change the corner kicker. Say if henry was taking a corner the player would want to change it with a defender like puyol, etc this will allow the attacker have the chance to score the goal.

I agree with Panos this is one of the stupidest questions and threads I have seen on any forum for quite a while...
