Paul√ / Paulv2k4 FC26 - FMT (Frostbite Modding Tool)

After compiling the mods with FMT, you need to copy some files from the original installation back so that LiveEditor works together with the FMT modifications.

It is always a good idea to keep a copy of the original game folder untouched. :SMUG:
Man I didnt know that ahhaha and im repairing the game every time I need the live editor, could you please tell me what are the archives that i need to backup to be able to use live editor with frostbite modding tool?

I'm not home yet. But what LiveEditor needs is everything from the original anticheat and decryptor, that is, not ""corrupted"" by FMT.

There are three separate files in the app path.

From a clean install, copy the separate files from the game folder—just the individual files, not the folders—and put them in a random folder.

From the clean install, run FMT with mods. If you want to keep things tidy, note that several files will change their time and date depending on when FMT is running. You'll have to replace those files with the original ones you set aside in the random folder.

Then, run the game from LiveEditor with FMT completely closed. Basically, you'll be bypassing the anticheat with the magic of LiveEditor, not FMT.

If that's without modding before running FMT. Back them all up; they're just over 4 GB. Then run FMT when you launch the game, close it, and check which ones changed the date and time.
 
anybody know what to delete/get rid of to stop commentators saying a teams name? I tried the two strings in the loc but the still say it...

I'll try this again tomorrow. I couldn't get it all to work tonight. Which is weird, because I had it working earlier this week, without really doing anything special. IDK what I did wrong. I have FMT's latest version, and LE latest version.

I did some experiments with LE tonight. It worked with mods from this past weekend easily, Cool, everything worked.

Closed LE and opened FMT. Created a new mod to test things out. Launched FMT with new mods. They work.

Tried to launch LE, not getting it to work.
Ahhhh well, I;'ll poke at it more.

1 Clean Install of the game
2 Open Fmt insert mod and open game
3 Close Fmt completely
4 Copy the eaanticheat.gameserviceslauncher archive that comes with Live Editor into the game main folder
5 Open the game with live editor and enjoy

I appreciate the help. Unfortunately, Live Editor still not working after following these steps. I also tried the LE advice of clearing the cache and running LE as admin. Something definitely hanging it up. Not a huge deal I suppose.

You guys are best off waiting for the next version of FMT where it has integrated settings to launch Live Editor.
 
So i have question. i created kits in fifa kits creator, used fmt and it's kit importer, started the game , everything goes fine but then when i wanted to start a new career i'm stuck on the screen where u choose new career and live career . i tried it in kick off mode , i can see the kits but when i try to enter the game it doesn't move from the screen where you're selecting the teams . any advice ? thank you in advance

Ehi Paul i get this message: "Your SDK version is out of date. some features may not work as expected. would you like to update now?" and if I continue then the program crashes.
