Patches... are they all shit?

I always have problems with my evo crashing, i currently use evo patch.

However, i am installing it on a mates computer as he was amazed on how good it looked (pro evo) on the pc. I installed his game (original) and after i install the patch it messes the game. I get no images on the main screen and when i start a match it crashes. Is this a main problem with the evo patch or am i doing something wrong?

No,they are collections of hundreds if not thousands of editing hours by some great guys.

However....yes they seem to have a tendancy to crash.

This year I decided to collect as much of the best stuff as posible and
patiently create my own patch step by step that I know will not crash.

Their are so many issues to look for , text errors in GDB etc that van cause a game
to crash.

It takes a lot of patience,

But in no way are the patches " shit ".

you can try this, as it helped me many times to solve crashing issues.

Go to Programs folder > Kitserver > Setup.exe, click remove > Now get no GDB Kitserver original Pack from Internet > Replace the contents in this with the existing Kitserver folder except GDB folder and it should work. Good luck.
