Only £17.99??

Why is the new game alot cheaper on pc? Is there any difference between the console and pc games??

Thanks

because of piracy...they cannot dare to even think of milking the pc gamers like they do on consoles....£50 a game is truly a rip off...

In shops its more expensive only cheap online. Plus its a PC game it has system requirements and all that which makes it cheaper. On consoles its guranteed to work. Plus if someone buys the game he may easily return it again making the game cheaper because if its too expensive people will return it to the shop and get the full game for free.

as lord fernando said, when you buy a PS3 game, a part of the money goes to Sony in royalties. When you buy PES in PC all your money goes to Konami.

it retails for £30 in stores. I managed find get it for £20 in one highstreet store. The prices for brand new xbox/ps3 games are ridiculous. Thats why I dont bother with them

Actually as a matter oh fact do not by any means be fooled by the prise of it. More expensive does not mean more better!:NONO:
Infact I bought Crysis Warhead for £14.99 and that game is the best game in the world at the moment!http://uk.gamespot.com/games.html?type=top_rated&platform=5&mode=top&page_type=games&tag=subnav;top_games

Don't let the prise of the game fool you! There are cheap games that are bloody awesome you know.
£17.99 infact is still too much I know that the NG console games are more expensive but in a way its a steal companies do it for business. I've tried cheap games and expensive games and to be honest its not always down to the prize its down to how good the game is!:CONFUSE:

Exactly the same as everyone else says.
PC Games are cheaper because they dont have to pay any royalties to Sony or Microsoft the money goes direct to Konami, hence the PC game is cheaper.

But as far as the game goes it is like all PC Games.
If you have a gaming machine the PC version will blow the console versions out the water.
If you have a £300 PC from PC world which can barely run the game then your looking at playing nothing better than a PS2 game.

This is why PC games are hard to judge as they all depend on system specs.
Hopefully this answers both questions.

a £300 PC tower has at least a dual core and a 9600GT...and that can just destroy any console...

Your joking right, a 9600GT isnt as powerful as a PS3 or 360, and I doubt you would find a dual core from PC world for £300 without it being a shitty celeron.

YEA 9600GT can destroy any console why ppl think that ps3 or xbox better than pc like splinter cell conviction ps3 cant handle it but pc can and all game like assassins creed and grid and crysis all run better on pc in better frame rates than ps3 or xbox

AMD Dual core 5000
2gb DDR2 RAM
9600 GT 512mb
tower etc...psu...
PRE BUILT PC....£300 I know it hurts...
as for 9600GT...the 360 has a ATI 1900 in it...the PS3 7800 Nvidia....
ANd last but not least they run at a joke of resolution 720p, CoD4 runs at 600p, Haze is running at 576p...
For Chirts sake a 9500GS runs PES2009 maxxed at AAx16/1680x1050....

Your wrong. The PS3 and Xbox 360 has a graphics card equivalent to the Nvidia 7800GT!Most people say its between a 7800GT/7900GS from http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/247701-33-what-graphics-card-xbox360-equivalent
By the way it is not true that you cannot get a dual core PC for £300:NONO: Anyways the 9600GT is almost equivalent to the 8800GT close to the ATI 3850. What are you trying to say, that a PS3 has a such a powerful graphics card like a GTX 280 graphics card?:BLEH: That would be a nice dream!

Because if this was the case everyone and I mean everyone would've bought a PS3 before a PC for gaming purpose!

I got the Packard Bell Imedia X2414 (just the tower) from PC World with Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor with 3 GB RAM, 320GB HD with an integrated Nvidia 7050 GPU for £379.99.

However I upgraded it with a £44.99 Nvidia GeForce 8600GT card, which runs PES 2008/2009 very smoothly on the highest resolution on high quality! I also run Crysis Warhead on Enthusiastic setting and get 15-30 FPS on average!

I think you've got misunderstanding on this point.

The gaming consoles are still powerful than PC even if they only have a graphics card equivalent to the Nvidia 7800GT. Why? it is because consoles are sort of concentrated system and only for gaming purpose. It works 100% in efficiency. PC is a dispersive system due to the problem of multitasking. PC is quite useful and it allows you to do s lot of things but not only one thing would be well versed in. So the line between console and PC is not very thin.

Im sorry but I have to admit that the marketing departments of both M$ and Sony work wonders...

you're completely wrong mate.

a well built PC with the right components is far more powerful and better for gaming than any console, PC components constantly get better and faster, whereas the console sits there stagnating.

PES09 on the PC is great, I have 8800GT sli and with the kitserver, kits etc and the game edited it is really great at 1920*1080, I also have fifa 09 for xbox 360 and when I flick between channels the graphics are much sharper and more detailed in my opinion for PES09. The game really is great on a good pc, I have also played it for the PS3 and if you are able to increase the resolution on PC this game has super graphics.

where i can buy pes2009 digital purchase for pc

You can't.

Before responding non sense just search, this is a part of seabass interview on ign (26-09-08)

IGN: Will PES ever switch to be a digital download that has regular updates throughout the season?

Seabass: You can already download PES on PC, plus PES 2009 will have regular online updates. At the moment the two coexist – the game you buy at the stores and the download you play on PC – but I'm quite flexible for if the trend goes more towards downloads we'd shift in that direction. At the moment though I think most people would still go for the physical version they get from a shop.

plz tell me the site

here it is but this is french :

http://jeuxvideo.jeu.orange.fr/

I can't fin any uk site that sell it, but as seabass says it must be one.

And just for yannleo : The Graphics now for pc are tested on 2560*1600 monitors try it with a ps3 or a xbox360 :p, pc is and will ever be in advance.

That's not really true. A Mega Joy for example is for gaming purpose only, right? Still a PC is million times better than a console. A console may be only for gaming purpose but that does not mean that it is better than a PC. A PC has all the features in the world. Its made not just for documenting and surfing the net its highly a gaming toy too:D

You seem to ignore the graphical part. A console has 7800GT and a PC has a GTX 280 you can't ignore the facts! a GTX 280 is more expensive then a PS3 its over £300. A PC with hardware gaming components makes it the complete gaming entertainment.
If you have a mobile phone you may think its for talking purpose only but that's not the case a Phone has a powerful MP3 and an MP4 player its great for gaming too, digital TV, internet, etc
If you don't mind asking you, what are your PC specs?

Don't tell me you've got a Celeron processor because if you do then you'll never experience the strenght of it. I had a Pentium 4 PC and I was so frustrated that I thought of getting a PS3. A friend of mine told me well you won't be able to play Crysis (Warhead), etc and i felt quite confused. So I thought to myself well I'll get a quad-core its more rational for similar price and I got it and am very happy such a drastic contrast comparing to the pentium 4 crap.
PS3 is stronger than Celeron or Pentium 4 processor. But its weaker than a Quad-Core or an Extreme processor! Don't muddle the definition of a PC! PC varies from strong to weak!!!!!
