Online wont connect anymore!! help needed

I have a no cd crack and the game would conect no problem, then i updated it as it asks and i cant connect anymore. i downloaded the patch and it keeps saying i need to update. What can i do?
 
Yeah it won't work with the crack, i had to keep my DVD in the drive to get online. I won't bother again until i know it's been fixed.
 
is there anyway i can play the game online without keeping the cd in the dvd drive then?it used to work fine untill the update came out
 
i've got the same problem but worse. I have the game but my dvd wont recognise the disc i think its dual layer. I copied onto two disks on my laptop and dragged it across to my desktop. So know i patched the no dvd crack it wont work witout the disc. So lets see if anyone can get round that one without me purchasing a new dvd drive and yes i have updated the firmware on it its a sony dvd rw dw g120a.
