At this point, PES6 is the only PES title that can realistically be played online and is arguably the only game on EvoWeb that has a growing playerbase and future.
PES3, PES4 and PES5 are effectively dead games with virtually no remaining player base online and offline. Same with PES 2021 it has quite a few editors here on evoweb , but compared to pes6 it has nothing elsewhere on the web (YouTube, Facebook, Discord etc) and does not even have an online server.
So if you would like to play online, your best bet is to go with PES6 and create an account here: https://pes6.es/frontend/
That server hosts 3000 matches per day. PES6 has an estimated 50,000 active players world wide (online and offline ) and about 10,000 of these players log into its two most popular servers each week.
For online play, you only need the original game (no patches are required)

That the thing
Its fucking hard to get the files that works because the files are so old that they dont work on Windows 11
Install suitable operating system (Windows XP, Windows 7) to additional hard drive (that you can On and Off from PC system) and solve your issues with instability of working additional tools for network play.
This is not a problem in current times, when very easy to get separate HDD drive.

But would be cool to have more people here playing PES 2008 online, PES 2009 online,etc
Use this disc only for playing in online and no any troubles with security.
Because if on this disc will be only Windows and few old games with tools - for whom this will be interesting ?
And what afraid to lost ?
It's in most cases just question "who can organize whole stuff good and safe way".

Its not losing files, its about malware and RCE and bank account
Mate, make special separate hard disc drive with Windows XP or Windows 7 for possibility to play in needed games.
Other discs you can simply off from system and no any troubles.
If you are do not want to do is because of some inconvenience - "it's another talking".
Instead of "to do something", many here "try to find a reason, why they can't to do it" (c)
If someone want to spend his time for learn how to install patches by myself - he can easily do it:
- if someone want to learn do to installers - it's possible to learn also
- how to install old game and make it workable on modern systems - the power of whole internet can help you
- make a stadiums set for any patch - just few hours of your life, instead of instant asking to reupload missing stadiums packs
- reupload missing patch - he can save it for myself, when patch was available for FREE with duplicates on different fileservices
- want to play in any PES patch for some season - use search on site and you will find patch or even few patches
- etc ...
P.S. There are much more easy to type few words "why I can't to do it", instead of "to do it right now".
P.S.2 Mate, it's simply "more detailed answer" for many forum-askers ...

I am creating a VM for that, i dont need another disk and i dont use a dual boot for that either
Besides you talking about Offline Patches, not Online patch that i need to get from a sketchy site
Virtual Machines - it's too just technology, that was created for better usability "run just in few clicks", but it can cause additional troubles, because also load whole system much more.
Mate, certainly, "it's your own choice, how to resolve or not resolve your issues".
I am simply sharing my opinion with other evoweb mates.
