LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG. Is it hard to make an online game that does not lag. Konami and EA just cannot make a lag free online game both are useless. had 2 games a 2v2 showed me having a red connection even though my upload speed is perfectly fine at 50kb and then i had a 1v1 with a mate again red connection when it should be green. No other games lag for me online with the pc just Pro evo. konami an EA are in capable of making a fun online experience.

No lag here, rare glitches maybe - but overall as smooth as a baby's arse, even when the 'red dots' are hosting.

Don't think you can blame Konami for this one. It must be your setup.

For gaming, upload/download speed doesn't really matter so much. It's PING that really counts. visit www.speedtest.net and check out your PING. Anything above 80ms to another British server is useless for gaming but I would imagine that with an online football game you would be wanting something more along the lines of less than 50ms.

My ping is sweets its 20ms. And my setup up is fine, i dont need ports fowarding seen as i have got them all open through my router with DMZ.

No lol.
Blue and red does not mean that. It means home and away team. If your playing as home it should be like a blue 1 and your opponent with red 2 stating player 2.

Look at my thread. I am not experiencing any lag at all. I am so pleased this year.
And it can't be that your having problems with both EA and Konami??? Surely now its your connection!
Your download speed is important not upload speed.
By the way that upload speed of 50 kbs is dreadful!

You should have a much higher speed than that. I have a 1.6 MB upload speed. That's about 1600 Kbps for upload speed.
For download speed you need at least 512 KBPs. Check speedtest.net and see.

I get around 14 MBPS although I am subscribed for a 24 MB speed connection from BE Unlimited ISP.
What kind of a modem/router you have? If its a Thomson speedtouch router/modem. Forget it! Because these are popular for being problematic and can't open a single port!

Get a Netgear or Belkin. If you already have a netgear or a belkin router. Then no problem. You can freely open the UDP 5739 port and see if you have lag online or not!

Ok i do not get any lag with 1v1 i do get lag when doing 2v2 though

Online Experience

a) push start button and leave rapidly, a wanted 2on2 turns into a 2on1
b) why to read roomnames...
c) connection light starts to change color after starting the game up
d) taking barca or real even in friendlys to 90 %(requests,wishes.. dont help), 70 of the 90 % are runner noobs(down the side) and d1)cutting in or d2) cross
e) 50% of the crosses turnin into goals coz of the delay ->c), u cant move the defenders well, they do nothing
f) 3 or more players hanging on messi/kaka/ronaldo/ibra and nothin happens
g) strange delay periods/slow downs/syncing
h) no manual keepers/strange goals/mistakes only online
i)bad language/behavior
j) lobby chat spam

so basically they cant even make a straight 10m pass and im gettin the goals, my ball goes flat and im frustrated

sure, friendlist gaming without lag/delay but u need opponents too for 2on2
and 1on1 turn into russian roulette coz of c) the conn. light is bullshit

I can not even connect online and have no clue why.

Sadly, as crappy as it is, for PC it is the only option. Maybe I will get an xbox or ps3 as x mas gift

I know it will not be pes I buy next year!
