Update: The issue surrounding 2FA logins using the Google Authenticator should be resolved now. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. /Tom
We've been getting a growing number of reports from users being unable to log into their accounts using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with the Google Authenticator, putting them into an error loop. Rest assured we're trying to fix this asap. Thanks for your patience! /Tom
Of course. You can do it through an Online Community.
Go to the main menu and Community option. Then Online. Give it a name and if you want, a password.
Then tell your friend those details and you can log into the same "community" where you see the same menu screens and you can play games there and it keeps match records. Can also change settings like match length, form, difficulty etc.
You have to make sure your games are the same region too. It's no use having a North American version of the disk and a UK version. I should also mention that this was the case for 2010. I'm not sure about 2011.
