ONLINE "accessing to another player"

I install PES 2008 and game works. I have XP pro SP2 and antivirus Avant!
When i go online I login and works good! I create player file and try to play with another and then all stops!!!!
I see other online but when i try to access to another player I get this message:

- An error has occured Could not access
or
- Could not access due another user

I set in firewall settings "under exceptins i allowed pes 2008 and add port 5739"

I dont know what to do now ; please help me to solve this problem!!!

I have the same problem. Where do you come from? I am from Czech Republic so I think I can't play because I don't live in Portugal, France, Spain, Italy, England, German -> its languages are for online. Is that possible?

- Where did you get a CD-KEY ???
- It a virgin CD-KEY ???
- Did you buy CD-Key only and played witch downloaded game ??
- Did you use No DVD game patch??

my be this questions help you to understand your PB ;)
 
I have original game with valid key and I m form Slovenia. I have all colletion of PES and i never have problem playing online!!!!

I was connected to the server I just cant access to another player!!!!!!!
 
how can you chat your own words online, all i can do is that automated crap like good game and goal!

I had the same problems as you. Now i can play online, no problem.

You must make sure that all network connections that you do not need are switched off.
So for example a 1394 network card, or hamachi network card...swithc it all off.
Just keep the internet conn. alive (obviously) and it should work fine.

Just be prepared for a big disappointment. I played again a few games online this week...but there is no joy to find.
Connection is laggy with players and ball teleporting...

even a few mins ago i played a match. He chose manred, so i chose Chelsea.

I win the game 5-2, with a few very nice goals...but i could not enjoy the game at all. Because of the lag sometimes you dont even know that you scored a goal.

So...pes2008 offline is smooth but scripted as hell.
Online this game could be perfect...if they sort out the terrible lag/stuttering online.

Konami have a lot of work to do...lazy japanese fucks
 
I'm from uk, I have the same problem. couldn't play online at all, i only can sign in, but can match with other ppl. don't know what's happening. anyone got idea to sort this thing out? thank you
 
Firstly, as an acid test, disable anti virus and Windows security options while you test.

If you're using a router, you will need to make sure the following ports are open.

TCP Ports: 80, 443, 8800-8899, 14020
UDP Port: 5730-5739

If you are using a network card, make sure you're using Full 100 Duplex and Flow control is disabled (just to make the game run smoother once you do get online).

If all else fails, read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941206 which may also apply.

go to "network connections"

extented , extented settings , your "lan" must be on top
 
i have nothing else in network connections,just a shortcut to my computer and a icon showing my router,i have forwarded those ports mentioned and still constant disconnects (causing me losses in every match 0-3),i have also disabled avg and windows firewall.
 
Hello guys,
I am even wondering, if its possible to play pes2008 backup downloaded game.
Cause truth to be told, there is like "new client version" security which I am not sure can be get through.

I have local area network on top but it doesnt work.

What's that for?

Ronnie, go to network connections and search for "Advanced" in the upper menu. There you'll wind some shit :)
 
Solution for usb modem...

Go to device manager...(my computer->properties->hardware->device manager) and in Network adapters simply disable everything except from usb modem...That's it..

ps: I've never changed ip settings and it works!
