Correct, Morfeo is on loan to Parma for 2 years.

I believe Olembe (currently on loan at Leeds) is being lined up to go to Blackburn. Meanwhile, Sakho (also on loan at Leeds), will be going to another Premiership club. Anyone know where?

Real Madrid's main target is Franseco Totti.

Francesco Totti seems likely to be the star player that Real Madrid will be trying to lure to Spain next season.

Following declarations by Perez that they are already in contact with the world class player they intend to sign for next season, many names have been suggested, including Owen and Henry, however latest speculation indicates that Totti is the number one target.

Roma are currently in a bad financial position and the sale of a costly player such as Totti might ease their porblems, just like Lazio did last year with Nesta. Moreover, the giallorossi captain has stated in the past that Real Madrid is a team that fascinates him and if he ever left Roma it would be for them.

Roma general manager Franco Baldini has dismissed claims in the Spanish press linking Francesco Totti with a move to Real Madrid.

"We say again, as we did in the past, that we haven't received any bid for Totti," he stated. "And even if we did, our answer would always be the same: no."

Real have been linked with the Giallorossi captain for some months now.

Totti going to Real in the summer doesn't seem to unrealistic to me.

i know we have the cash, but he's not currently worth £9 million imo.

best young midfielder in the premiership imo
in todays market you could get a better proven player but for 9 million your getting one of the best if not the best on form midfielder in the prem at the moment
i hope he stays at charlton for a few more year yet for the sake of his career becuase if he goes to you he will hardly play becuase lampard cole makelelle petit veron etc arent gonna take lightly to being on the bench
i think they want to concentrate on getting that statue desailly out of the first 11 and getting a class centre back alongside Terry.

I still don't think he's worth £9 million though, perhaps in a couple of years. Charlton are just taking the piss, knowing that Ranieri wants him. As it stands, there's no way he'd get a place before either Lampard of Makelele. However, I do think he'll be a good acquisition for the future, particularly seeing as he's English, which is perhaps what Chelsea needs. A larger English contingent will help our aspirations.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but i heard somewhere that Real Madrid were looking at Abel Xavier!!!

NO BULLSHIT!!

yes, he is a skillfull lad who has speed and quickness, and he can play multiple positions, and he is still only 21, seems like he is much older

I think his best position is either off a target man like bellamy with shearer, or with someone like sheringham at portsmouth he will be brilliant. West Ham were linked with him a few years ago when redknapp was in charge of us. Andres D'Alessandro was too!! We had the chance to sign him for £3m but redknapp let him go because he was too similar to Joe Cole.
After Redknapp said; "I fear i have just let the new maradona go..."

WHAT A PRICK!!!

I would have wet myself if we had got him!!!

Indeed, from the little i have seen of Donovan, he truely looks good. I have always wondered why his profile hadn't got any bigger in Europe. Wasn't he at Leverkusen for a bit, 00-01 season? Plus, Nokami always rate him highly  and he's been in many of my ML teams as the most influential attacking player.

Inter are reportedly going to sign Claudio Pizarro from Udinese by the end of the week. Arguably their best player, along with the likes of Jorgensen. What's the bet he'd get worse there, or just not get enough games. I reckon he should stay at Udinese. He only just extended his contract too. Good midfielder!
On the other hand, Kily Gonzalez looks set to leave Inter.

Claudio Pizarro is the peruvian player of Bayern Munich. I think you would say David Pizarro the chilean midfielder.

David Pizzaro ;). hehe.
I think it's a good move, he'll finally be recognized. I think he'll get enough games, because Inter have been looking for a player like him.

David Pizarro set for Inter move
Udinese midfielder David Pizarro is expected to complete a move to Inter by the end of the week.
The Chilean has been linked with the Nerazzurri for several months, and the two sides are set to talk over the next few days in an effort to reach agreement.
Meanwhile, it is now being suggested that Lazio's Dejan Stankovic will not move to Inter until the summer.

Young South African Striker On Trial With Panathinaikos
South Africa's junior international striker Thando Mngomeni arrived in Athens last Sunday from Sweden and started a trial on Monday with Greek giants Panathinaikos.
The 21-year-old had been on trials with Swedish side Helsingborg and although he made a good impression, the Swedish club failed to reach an agreement with his club Supersport United.
Mngomeni met his countryman Nasif Morris at Panathinaikos.

According to reports in the Italian media, AS Roma are prepared to launch a bid for in form Sampdoria hit man Fabio Bazzani, by offering Vincenzo Montella in return.

Montella, who has been struck by injury in this campaign, would be welcomed back to Sampdoria with open arms, as he was a fans favourite during his spell there.

Bazzani on the other hand has had a wonderful season, with the likes of Manchester United and AC Milan reportedly interested in the Italian international and the news that Roma are now hot on his heals comes as no surprise.

The Capital club have had a wonderful season thus far, but certainly could strengthen their team immensely with the purchase of a target man. Their leading scorer is currently captain Francesco Totti, with Antonio Cassano and John Carew only adding 4 goals each so far.

Arsenal have signed Spanish winger Jose Antonio Reyes from Sevilla for around £20m according to the player's own website.
The 20-year-old has revealed that he has agreed to join the Premiership leaders ahead of the weekend's transfer window deadline.

"I'm the happiest man and the saddest man in the world at the same time,'' he said.

"I'm leaving the best team in Spain to join the best team in England.''

Reyes is set to join Arsenal immediately. He has been a regular in the Sevilla side for the past three seasons but will now fly to London to meet his new team-mates.

While Arsenal are currently top of the Premiership, they are looking to build for the future and at the same time strengthen their title bid for the current campaign.
