Newcastle press conference at 3:30pm. Expected confirmation of Viana out and Kluivert in.

D. Albertini, Lazio -> Atalanta (Free Transfer)

Will Lazio have ANY players left when the season starts ?

E. Morretti, Parma -> Valencia (5 year contract 3mil Euros)

Benayoun of Racing Santander is apparently up for sale.

According to Haaretz "Santander is officially asking for 10 million euros for Benayoun, but is believed to be willing to accept 4 million for the former Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Maccabi Haifa player."

Why are Monaco called the principality.

The place is called "the principaity." not the club.
Monaco is ruled by a Prince Albert It's his jurisdiction so to speak. It's a tiny tiny place. You may have seen him at some Monaco matches. I think Princess Caroline, his sister, is second in line to the throne. It would still remain a principality if she ruled.

:)

about Lazio ..
Did Dino Baggio joined them ??

I think Lazio is doing the right thing .. it's better then be same as fiorentina !!

Anderlecht reject bid from Portsmouth for Aruna Dindane.

Do you know how much for? Wouldn't mind Celtic signing him, although then again wouldn't mind them signing fucking anybody!!

Confirmed

Rivaldo to Olympiacos C.F.P.

Nothing on their website yet, but you're in Greece. ;)

What squad number will he have?
10 is taken by Giovanni. 11 is taken byDjordjevic.
9 looks free, so is 20.
Mind you he probably demanded the number 10 shirt as a term.

Nobody knows his jersey's number yet.Maybe 10!Giovanni is a close friend of him...Will see...Today Rivaldo goes for medical exams and then flighs for Brazil to take his things and after that straight to Austria to find the team for the main stage of the summer training. Here (in Greece) from yesterday there is a Rivaldo-mania.Rivaldo is the greatest football player that ever transfered in a Greek team...

Well FD, that's a big confession...you're coming out of the closet here...I remember you saying after Anderlechts win against Celtic (or was after Celtic thrashed Anderlecht) that you couldn't stand him (diving....).

You must be desperate.

Sometimes it pays of to have a good memory...

Mathieu Flamini (Marseille) to Arsenal (Official 4 years)

Hey Thomas, could you tell me something about him? I know he plays midfield and broke into the Marseilles first team the second part of last season.

Is he any good?

What player would you say he reminds you of?

I watched last year's French championship in a Greek channel. It's a young Center Half player (20 years old) who can play as an Offensive miedfielder better than a Defensive one I think.Unfortunately for him Marseille has its roster a player with more experiences Batlles. Flamini played at 5 matches for championat and 4 for UEFA cup against Inter,Newcastle and Valencia. At 9 matches who played (5 W 3 D and 2 L) one of them it was the UEFA Cup final against Valencia. At 71' replaced with Batlles. But I think it's a very promising midfielder and maybe he can play well as a side offensive miedfielder.

Anderlecht won't say.

"RSC Anderlecht confirms that they have been contacted by a delegate of Portsmouth and that the English club have made a bid for Aruna Dindane. But Sporting Anderlecht considered the bid to be inadequate. Besides Anderlecht would like to keep the player from Ivory Coast in the Astridpark."
